Well Khaldoon did say within the fortnight a week ago so I expected it to draaaaag..or else he would've said within the week. It is annoying though.

The whole world says he's a good manager. So don't care what he looks like. But they must be confirming it soon. Really it needs to be sorted this week.

This is where guess-work applies. Didn't he record that interview a couple of weeks ago now? But then again, was he anticipating the time the video went on the web-site and factor that into his statement? These questions, and many others, will be answered in next week's episode....

Think they anticipated Mourinhos' move first; let the circus die down for a day or two, then bring the man in... that's only guess work though!

I respect what he's done at villareal, madrid, and malaga (even though no trophies were won). But we're starting over again here, so anything could happen... fingers and bollocks crossed!

Welcome to the board. Pellegrini quote: 'Not to chase a second goal after scoring the first is lacking respect for the game'. Can't wait!

Wasn't it posted May 30th or 31st?...That'd put a fortnight as the end of this week, which by now sounds about right.

Cheers pal. Yeah I'm pretty excited about the whole thing now. I was devastated when Roberto was axed - I'm 31 and he was the only one to introduce silverware to me; was beginning to think trophies were a myth. But... I suppose you've got to trust the two Spanish lads... and tjw owner for that matter.

A vessel was washed up on the shore at Whitby last night, its captain dead and clasping a crucifix, tied to the wheel. The only cargo was a number of large wooden boxes & a huge dog leapt from the hold and disappeared into the night.

Pellegrini press conference Thursday at the latest.

"Firmará" means "will sign" if I am not mistaken, so perhaps not just yet. Carl? John@staustell?

That Chilean news source was where the initial link of Pelligrini to City came from.

Stu Brennan in the MuEN reckons Thursday is the day.

I've seen some suggestions doing the rounds that there was a deal struck with Chelsea over managerial announcements to avoid a clash. Pinch of salt recommended.
