Theme Song For Jesus

Postby TheReturnOfTheSpecialOne » Wed Jun 12, 2013 2:45 am

Beep Beep (The Roadrunner Song)
That's who he reminded me of, tonight; the way his legs went whirring around and he left the defender for dead, in a cloud of dust, as soon as he got the ball
And another plus point for me: he never gave up. Where others might think the ball was going out for a throw/goal kick, he put in the extra effort to retrieve it

I'll give this one my vote Soc's - but without the 'not' - bang on the nail as they say!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Je-sus
Don't be homesick
Go to La Tasca
And you'll feel better.

Remember
We've got two restaurants here
Just speak to Carlos
And he'll show you them.

crosses it for Edin and he nods it in
he loves his pies and he loves a chip
so fuck off everyone who says he gets homesick

you mean the Nirvana song?
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Why not Personal Jesus from Depeche Mode? It sounds brilliant for me!

Would not be my personal choice but I cannot see the fans looking beyond some version of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' even though the 'J' is silent when pronouced

his family name is Gonzales, so why not speedy gonzales, then we don't risk thunderbolts

I think we should leave out tunes that have a religious theme. After all, we wouldn't want to stigmatize the guy.

It's not silent, it's just pronounced like a breathy H. It'll be Hey Jude (Hey-soos) and it'll be quality.
