Not to put a negative slant on things but does anybody really believe that he's coming to us?

Got a feeling he will. 2 basic factors in our favour. 1. He knows City were interested in him a long time ago. 2. Pellegrini

It wouldn't surprise me to find out this was a done deal a long time ago and all the other speculation since is just froth.

No. Real Madrid for me. There's a 35-40% chance he supported them as a kid.

He is from Benalmadena so he surely must be a Malaga fan in that case.

Not so sure it's a done deal. If so why he come out now and say he still has two options?
He's young, Spanish, real is almost certainly more attractive to him.
Just hope that pel can have plenty of influence.

Don't bet on it. Real Madrid and Barcelona enjoy the support of 60% of Spanish football fans. Of that 60%, more support Madrid than Barça.

Yeah, link seems to be a bit odd.

Özil, Kaká and perhaps Jesé play his position

No room at the inn for Isco

Isco's future is not looking rosy. Well, to be precise, it isn't looking very "White". Despite his marvellous performances in the European U-21 Championship, neither Real Madrid nor the player himself are convinced that the two are a match made in heaven.

The higher-ups at Real Madrid are not letting themselves be seduced by the man from Malaga's sweet form. The reason why is self-evident - in the position that the young starlet plays in, there is already overbooking.

The feeling in the Bernabéu is that with Mesut Özil already on board, Isco would hardly get a look-in. Last season's strategy of having two players vying for starter-status for every position has been shelved for the time being, and having both Isco and Özil for the same job is not seen as a boon, but more as a headache.

Also up for the job is Kaká. The Brazilian will not find it easy leaving the Real camp this year - as he never does - as in all probability the arrival of Ancelotti, a great friend of the player, will give the Ballon d'Or winner yet another opportunity to prove himself and make a go of it.

Added to all this, we have another possible candidate for the false 9 position - Jesé Rodríguez. Florentino's recent declarations regarding the player couldn't be clearer: "I would like him to move up to the first team together with Nacho and Morata."

Isco is well aware of the difficulties he would have at Real, and sees playing at Manchester City a safer bet. Pellegrini's arrival at "The Citizens" will be a determining factor in the matter.

More , outside of the foot.

Does it matter if it was a toe punt!? It went in the top corner
