I don't know enough of Fernandinho to make judgement whether signing him that old was worth it. I know enough of Montolivo to know he isn't worth it.

And it was YOU who asked why people aren't interested and I answered. No need to fight his corner.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

o i don't fight mate , that is crap about net u don't see face and half of our communication is through the impression of the face. Yap ok so I think I watched it a lot more this year and I think that's a very good position at the CM and he's better than half the players who play in England at that position. You have to admit that we are better bought him than Garcia last year, at list that but then again hes playing in AC not shity club so u wanna move playing CL , nice for him .
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I watch a lot of hes games this season hes great to me good up front, strong, have fell for play ,taking a lot of balls, good in air , strong shoot , even have final touch great, hes like DMCM .I was wondering why nobody is intresting in him, hes best player at AC last season rule Midfield in that game when they win against Barsa but AC need few more years and some better option then Muntari to go up again.

Montolivo is another one of those born Milanista and ONLY want to play for ACM, he had lots of offer but when the skint ACM come calling he opt to run down contact at Fiorentina to get his dream move on free , if it wasn't for Montolivo and Abbiate I honestly think ACM will be in serisa B, well maybe bottom half

First touch. He hasn't got one. It is really odd that he's lauded. I just don't see why he's liked. We can all have different views, of course. I just don't see a decent footballer.

Probably not by intention, he's probably trying to control the ball and then just gives up and celebrates instead.

Well you must give Hughes credit for sticking to his guns (and still being wrong)...

Stoke's Mark Hughes STILL believes in Roque Santa Cruz and hopes to sign him a third time
20 Jun 2013 22:30

Striker has played under the Potters' new manager at Blackburn and Manchester City - but is also a target for Hamburg
Further than City got! Santa Cruz with Malaga in last season's Champions League quarter-finals Further than City got! Santa Cruz with Malaga in last season's Champions League quarter-finals

Mark Hughes is battling Hamburg to be reunited with Roque Santa Cruz for a second time.

New Stoke manager Hughes is ready to rival the Germans' offer to former Bayern Munich striker Santa Cruz, who is a free agent after being released by Manchester City.

Hughes is overhauling the Potters’ misfiring strike-force after succeeding Tony Pulis and remains a fan of the Paraguay international, who played under him at both Blackburn and City.

However, Hamburg say they are confident they can lure Santa Cruz back to the Bundlesliga.

They have given the 31-year-old, who last played a league match for City in 2010 and has spent the past two seasons on loan at Blackburn and with Spain's Real Betis and Malaga, 10 days to consider their offer.

Hamburg's director of sport, Oliver Kreuzer, said: “Roque has been made a financially very good offer and he has told us he finds Hamburg very interesting.”
I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I am all out of bubblegum.

Even when Carlos is gone he apparently leaves a shadow.

He's leaving it for Pellegrini to use.

Id imagine the count would prefer his shadow to be at 12 o'clock

If it wasn't for wild speculations and so-called "rumours" the football pages would be dead at this time of year. Even deader. You look online at ten in the morning and the latest stories are often the same ones you saw the previous day, or even several days ago. Even the Confederations Cup coverage seems half hearted except at the Guardian. Which begs the question, how do football writers justify getting paid in the summer when there is no World Cup or Euros?

The latest speculation re. City I've seen today is Luis Suarez... again. Says everything.
