I'm confident that if Isco thinks Real really want him & he'll get a spot in the Real Madrid starting 11, we haven't got even the slightest cat in hell's chance of him signing for City.

The starting spot is key though....and I think that's where the bond between him and Pellegrini is going to be tested!

I think it's the persuasive powers of Zidane which will be tested.

He's already been sold the City project. If Zidane convinces him he gets a starting place for Real Madrid, the City project will have to do without him.

No Isco would be a massive blow for the two amigos, IMHO the foudations they are on would be not so sound. They have been cool, calm and if they get a NO from him, failed big time. Marwood got it..... they would have questions to answer for me.

It was bullshit re Marwood & it would be bullshit re those two, but I agree, plenty of people will still go down that road.

In some people's eyes, if a player has the choice, he chooses City, even though that's bollocks.

At least the manager won't be joining in.

Looks like this one can be added to the pile with Hazard, Sanchez (thank god), RVP, Kaka, Javi Martinez et al.

Whenever these things become drawn out sagas in the press & over a lengthy spell, we seem to always lose out at the end.I would hope we haven't missed out due to farting about over the fee. However if Isco goes to RM & Tiago ends up at the shit pit, we have whiffed massively again I'm afraid.

We should try flicking our fingers harder.

All these players would sign for City, but we obviously are not flicking our fingers properly.

I suggest we get rid of the Spanish blokes as they obviously feel they have to enter into negotiations & actuially try to persuade players to sign for us rather than clubs like Real Madrid, but we know, all we have to do is flick our fingers.

If we do fail in this bid for Isco, as much as it would be a kick in the balls, the bosses above must move on and find another who can provide the same quality.

Not an easy task, but it can not be allowed to unsettle us. Our transfer targets must be more than one name on a sheet. He might be a priority, but surely they have back up ideas or that is just naive.

If we do get Isco, it will be a brilliant buy, especially because of who we are competing with. If not, brush it under the carpet, like the Cavani deal and move on.

Finger clicking . Better package, we lose Isco we have found another way to come up short again, if he decides against coming to us.
The head honchos will want answers, Marwood has got to the table with agents of players so did Cookie,If we fail with Cavani and Isco we need a re-think. W dont see B.Munich failing or PSG, who looking in look like the Next Chelsea in a manager every 18 months. They must have a top team behind the scenes, as the squad they have have been convinced.

Do you mean 'Click Our Fingers' rather than 'Flicking Our Fingers'? Sounds like we're flicking a bogey at him.
