That is to say, you haven't put any actual thought into this at all but just want to rant and complain and blame people anyway due to your magically high expectations?

I always wonder if people like you live your entire lives without bothering to logically think through anything at all. Boggles the mind.

If I was logical I would have sued Manchester Cityu for 35 lost yrs you clown, I was 6 months ahead of most on here with get Isco, so yes high expectations, we have to aim high, or are you missing somthing when you watch the best teams play. BM and now Monaco are landing the best without much trouble. PSG have had no trouble landing one of the best squads in world football, a project started after us. You can wonder what you want mate we in dogfight every time we look to buy a player. I am sure we have done a decent job in getting close to him, Just you dangle that type of player, I want him, and I am sure Pelli is thinking the same.

I posted on here probably a year ago or more that the Sky Spain commentator had said City were trying to sign Isco.

Trouble is, he is right under the noses of Real Madrid etc & what we see, they see. Barca had a go & didn't get him.

Logic has gone Falcao, has confirmed that, most players Pelli, or Tricky want will be under the noses of a dozen clubs some to hike the price some to stop us. Barca Got Nymar RM announce no big deal as he is not for them and never was 100% BS.

From mcfc official site - sundays media roundup

"Today’s obligatory Isco update: Madrid-based newspaper Marca reckon that the Malaga man will join them this weekend, while the BBC are reporting that he remains City’s top target and a number of top journalists in Spain, including Graham Hunter, reckon City hold the advantage"

Isco is not about money, it's about where he decides to play football. If he thinks Real are shitting him about getting in the team, he will be a City player. If however, he believes they will give him a first team shirt, he will sign for Madrid & logically, so he should.

If I was his dad or agent & Madrid were serious about playing him in their team, I would tell him to bite their hand off. He will take Silva or Mata's place in the Spanish World Cup squad if he gets in Real's team.

The main Spanish papers who ran the story he'd signed for Real, which everyone copied & spread around the world, have done similar with Aguero, Silva etc in the past.

No word from Isco himself yet.

I don't think you can assume that Ted, for starters he won't get anywhere near the Spain squad if he cannot hold down a place or get playing time at Real, so in effect it is a double edged sword for him... compounded by the fact he wont know what the manager thinks. At best Madrid is a gamble for Isco.

I'm glad someone else has seen it.

A lot of City fans think the sun shines out of Silva's arse. No doubt he's a quality player. But he had a good first six months and then has had the odd bit of brilliance here and there. I don't think it help with him going to these stupid fuckin summer tournaments instead of resting.

Madrid have apparently agreed a fee which is well below the reserve clause. If we match the clause Real have to match us or walk away. At least make the fuckers pay. Rafael Hernandez reckons we went back on our agreement to pay the clause which has allowed Real in.

Oh well if Raphael Hernandez says so, then it must be true.

How about this: Real & City have bids accepted in principlel for Isco. Isco decides which club he will sign for & tells both parties. Losing club denies ever making bid.

So is City. Our midfield minus Ronaldo is as good or better than theirs now we have Fernandinho.

If Real Madrid convince Isco he will play, then he will sign for Real Madrid. If not, he'll sign for Pellegrni.

There has been a lot of rumours that ourselves and RM have reached a "secret agreement" where we will not bid against each other?
I believe we could have secured this deal by offering Malaga Isco's release clause.
Perhaps Malaga feel agrieved about collusion?
It doesnt look too good for us at the moment. I hope we reconsider.
It's a shame if we dont get him, he looks a world star in the making.

Twitter and quoting random crap, not mutually exclusive, it seems.

Ooh.. indication that Pellegrini is getting involved and Isco might have rejected RM. Just going off what Tolmie has said and some twitter reports.
I reckon this should be done either way in the next 12-24 hours.
