Yeah, I doubt he'll be a cheap option though. Palermo rates him highly.

LOL.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Gary Hooper.... that guy who was above average striker in Championship and pretty good in 1st division? You don't find that suggestion slightly hilarious?

They must have something in plan. I cant see us without one more great striker and somebody in Isco place for that 30 mill before start of season and maybe CD.Hope that we can put that price on Cavani down but if is true hes asking for 300000 in wage well that is off then.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Lewandowski should be about £12m as he is is in the final year of his contract- is he any better than Tevez?

Lets just get him for a two year contract. Agree to sell him to Bayern for whatever we pay after 12 months. Gives us time to evaluate what we have under "he who cast no shadow" and will upset the scum.

Allegedly Atletico are looking at Osvaldo for around 15m. If they're serious, we should hijack the deal.

Never heard of him so had to look him up online looking at his career to date it appears he actually does not seem to knows where the net is.That said i have never seen him play so can't judge for myself.

Def avoid any more Africans. Heaven knows why they have that bloody comp every year.

Samaras at Celtic for me lmao. His scoring record up there for the "top" side shows what a shit league the SPL is and heaven knows what the 3rd division must be like. I reckon Leek Town would give St Mirren or Inverness Cal a run for their money. On which note this gives me an excuse to start another thread somewhere else.

Tournament is every 2 years, just that they had two in a row as changing from even to odd years. They are playing less qualifying games in future too as combining with world cup.

No cheap, but less than 1/2 price of a Cavani type:

Oscar Cardozo attracting interest from Premier League says agent

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/8796431/

106 goals in 160 appearances for Benfica, 6'4" tall, and can take a free kick well. 30 years old, but I've heard that he is more of a poacher that doesn't rely on pace as much. Has a great left foot shot and good technique. May be a perfect super-sup/3rd striker option. Also still has the club waiting to rule for him pushing the coach after subbing him out of a championship game which Benfica lost. So both sides may be easy to convince to part ways.
