I know what you mean. To be honest, I want him more now to piss off and laugh in the face of the Real fans, Rags and City haters taking the piss on twitter rather than him being a good player :-)

What's with this no culture bullshit that everyone is spouting?
Take some pride in your home town, ffs!
Manchester has plenty of history and culture. OK, there might not be a Prado, but do you really see Isco and other not-nosed football millionaires frequent art museums, operas, theaters and medeival buildings.
And please name me two influential bands from Madrid from the last 20-30 years! How many big industrialist do you now of who hail from Madrid?

Not fact just opinion - and that's a fact :-) . . . . in my opinion.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

This is all a cunning plan that we've missed. Real have put no bid in for him and we haven't for Cavani, but the plan is to keep all other interested parties away so we have two giants in the transfer market go head-to-head and everyone else just gives up before even trying.

Bit late then, as according to Napoli, they've accepted a bid from Chelsea for Cavani.

We've been fucked over by Isco, Madrid, Malaga or our new Spanish execs. It'll be interesting to see who's to blame.

I also wonder if we went after Isco because Pellegrini wanted him, or if we went after Pellegrini because we wanted Isco.

you are honestly saying that our entire strategy as a football club and multi national organisation would be based on one 21 year old player? far fetched to say the least

There were reports during a Spanish game two seasons ago that we'd signed Isco. Obviously not the case, but we were clearly interested. Didn't Mancini and maybe Vieira go to watch him as well? We have been linked longer than we were with Pellegrini.

Not saying we sacked Mancini to get him, but did Pellegrini's relationship with Isco make him a popular replacement? If they believe Isco could be the next Iniesta, why not improve the chances by getting a coach he likes? Pellegrini isn't a bad choice, but there are question marks (not won anything since in Europe), plus his age. We've all had the doubts and I'm just wondering if the relationship with Isco was a big plus factor for him?

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.
