Ta mate. You do some good stuff and you can be very funny too so I'm chuffed that you're one of the few who doesn't mind me.

It's nice to be not minded by someone :-)
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

You make a decent point, but you can hardly expect people to be over the moon about it, given our dealings last time round, and the replacements brought in.

Gutted to hear that he's leaving. Don't want him to go.

Whoever replaces him now must be TOP CLASS!

Seems plausible since the dippers just signed Mignolet. Would be a very good backup too.

Never forget Munich. It didnt feel right seeing him lift the FA cup as captain when it clearly should have been Vinny. Large wages off the books. He has no resale value for Juve. Tevez wants to finish at Boca. He never really gave a shit about City despite his efforts. Look to the future.

According to BBC "When the fee is combined with wages and bonuses due to Tevez in the final year of his contract, City could save £27m."

I was hoping for a little more for him but he was always gonna leave. Hopefully this is the kick up the arse to buy a new striker now, no question of should we buy a 4th but we definitely need a 3rd

Agreed. The quoted prices seem a bit low which raises eyebrows about our transfer dealings but I wonder if the media really have a clue or not

Just in case someone hasn't seen it:

Juventus are reported to have agreed a £10m deal for Carlos Tevez during crunch negotiations with Manchester City.

Juve directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici were reportedly getting close to an agreement after flying in to England on Tuesday.

According to several sources in Italy - including Sky Sport Italia, Tuttosport and the Gazzetta dello Sport - a deal has now been reached to take the former Manchester United and West Ham striker to Turin.

Juve will reportedly pay €9m (£7.6m) plus €3m (£2.5m) in performance-related bonuses, taking the total to €12m (£10m).

The Argentine striker is set to sign a three-year contract worth €5.5m (£4.6m) per season and now Britain's Sky Sports News claim he will undergo a medical in Turin on Wednesday.

Tevez has long been linked with a move to Italy, although Milan recently withdrew their interest.

Gutted.

The club must realize if we lose Isco and sell Tevez in the same week it's a big blow to team and fans. God I hope they have something big lined up.

To be honest, tevez is an amazing player but a ticking time bomb with 12 months to run. We have a new coach, who knows what could have happened? Thinking logically from a board and managerial perspective, they would be daft to turn it down and take a gamble. I think this was always going to happen, shame its not for a lot more money, but at least its not a year of hell and he leaves on a free. Therefore its 10 million in the bank and 200k a week saved. Plus its not AC bottlers who have bought him which is a bonus.

So have we rid that slimy fucker Kia from our club now that Tevez is gone? Not that I think he would be able to get anywhere with our current administration. But still good to hear if so.

Reina to barca surely.

I guess 10m is a decent fee given contract, but will easily cost at least double that to replace his throughput on the pitch. Even a supposed "declining" tevez was still our best striker last year and my runner up for city's pots (Pablo being #1).

Big loss but unavoidable.

Not necessarily a blow to the team, its a blow to fans who make drastic assumptions without knowing facts that our fantastic owners and management don't have a clue what they are doing (not directed at you by the way, just a general comment)

We sell you Tevez, you give us a free run at Jovetic (who Juve were after). Just a thought.
