Early days but a bit worried.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

More players are always nice, but I think we have a great base in place. Seriously, go back and read my original post. You'll see that Ted brought up the "2 striker limit" which I never mentioned or considered up to that point.

Do you really not think we will buy someone in the next 60 days? Where does the worry come from????

And for the themillionth time... if you can't discuss football (or anything) without moaning when you're simply a terrible person to discuss with.

We were discussing strikers etc, & you appeared telling everyone they should take pills & were a bunch of cunts. How does that put us as horrible people to discuss with ?

Anyhow bollocks to that & back on subject; Negrado I'm not convinced about but I like the bits I saw of that French lad we were linked with a while back.

The thread was about missing out on Isco and the first 3 pages were mostly people pissing themselves. You also don't have much ground to stand on when talking about replying off topic when you usually imply or respond to things that I never said. But carry on.

I have asked you a simple football question, several times, & tried to get on subject you refuse to take part. You don't seem to have anything to offer, just peripheral nonsense.

Bollox. Read the thread again I respond to football question in almost every post. I don't respond to questions that imply I said things that I never said. Your main response is to just say "You have nothing to offer." Not exactly the most content heavy replies...

I want a City style system.

You can play with only 1 striker at a time you know.... The scum basically won the league doing so and Bayern won everything they could with 1 striker. the 4-2-3-1 seems to be a pretty popular formation and our new coach likes it too. Maybe having 4 world class strikers is too much for one team if 3 of them are usually starting on the bench.

The scum had 4 strikers in the squad tho. Bayern had 3. Even in a system with one up top, you can't rely on 2 players to share 50 odd games between them with no back up plan whatsoever. Especially if one of them has been plagued by injuries all last season.

You can't seriously be counting Danny Welback.-_-

Sorry then I missed it. When I asked you several times if you thought it would be right or wrong to sign another striker, what was your reply ?

Your framing of the scenario as right/wrong/black/white is stupid. I've already given you my answer. We have 2 world class strikers. We have an incredible midfield to support them. Another striker would be nice. But if not, we're fine as long as everyone plays to their potential. Therefore the panic is unnecessary. Is this that hard to understand?

We did actually question you about that but you ducked it by changing the subject back to bollocks again.

So we now arrive back at the point in the discussion we were all having, which you joined & insulted us all, that some of us don't think two strikers are enough.

The reasons we gave, is that you get injuries.

To recap, I suggested that Aguero had an iffy injury record last season, & our likely reserve striker Guidetti, was out for most of a season with a career threatening illness & now has a knee injury. Several people mentioned the possibility of injuries.

In light of that, do you think a 3rd striker is just 'nice' or do you think it's pretty important to sign one ?

I'm going to put all my faith in Pellegrini, Txiki and Soriano; the latter two of our new holy trinity just so happened to turn Barcelona into the team we see today.
