Hmm, got me questioning myself now, will have to watch it again over the weekend ;-)

Sweep's goal was good though, I spat beer all over the lounge when he scored it!

Favourite City goal used to be Kinky v Southampton, but I watched it a week or two back and wasn't as impressed as I was sat in the Kippax.

Now I'm going to say Danny Mills's screamer against I don't know who. I was sat right behind it and it went like a bullet into the top corner. Beauty.

My favourite non-City goal was Sol Campbell's disallowed winner against Argentina in 98. Makes the hairs stand up just thinking about the celebrations in the pub. Only lasted a few seconds but it's one of the top football related moments of my lifetime.

Dickov at Wembley. For simply just going nuts that was the one (Aguero was very very close). But at that game against Gillingham, at 2-0 down I recall feeling utter hoplessness. That by losing we would be stuck in League One for years. That we would continue to be everybody's cup final and so would struggle. We did not have the finances to get ourselves out of it either which shows that Joe Royle deserved credit for unearthing Andy Morrison and Terry Cooke. And Bernstein's role is not forgotten. I won't have the press slag off his time as FA chairman (out of loyalty). Without him we would not be where we are today. He and Royle got the ball moving. Royle said of that Dickov goal that it was God saying that we had suffered enough and that is exactly how it felt. Had Aguero not scored then there would have been other opportunities but at Wembley that day you felt that it was now or never.

The second against the rags in the demolition derby. The way Silva waltzes and then gives a nice pass to Milner, who crosses and Balo scores. The build up to that one was also amazing.

Personally, after Dickov scored I sensed the game was destined to be ours so although nervous I dont think i was as nervous as I should have been during the penalties.

I was going to go with Macken too.

Adebayor in the 2009 season opener v Blackburn. So much pressure going into that game with the world looking in on the new money. Was worried we might do a 'typical City' and mess it up providing great joy to all but City fans. The relief when Abe scored in the first few mins was immense.

The poetic justice of Crouch's OG a year after putting us out of Europe made me snigger too.

Both goals on the day where we pissed all over the scum's Munich anniversary. Especially as we were all considered Satan's spawn in all the press before a ball was even kicked, discussions on what we would do and how everyone knew we'd behave badly, etc, yet we were impeccable, as we all expected we would be! Tossers.

It really is Aguero goal for me. Just pure crazy. Greatest ever. City or not.

As far as MAD SKILLLZZZZZZ goals go, Sinclair's bicycle kick for QPR is second to none.

But that Aguero goal..... greatest ever finish for game in any competition EVER.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Macken scored the winner and Barton was sent off bizarrely after the half time whistle. All the more impressive cos our league form was utterly dire

There was nothing bizarre about Barton sending off. Fucking clown thought the game was over.

Versus Everton at Eastlands, I remember it well, it shocked me that much.

Favourite CIty goal (not counting Aguero's):

For best non-City goal, it'd be easy to say Bergkamp, Henry or van Basten, but I'm going with this gem from the Swedish first division:

So many to pick from, let alone a dozen from a certain chap at Southampton. What about Ibrahimovich's bicycle kick against England? Romario's bicycle kick? Roberto Carlo's screamer from the corner flag!? Van Basten's volley '88?

Mine, however, is this beauty I found a couple of years ago on Youtube

95th minute. Hopeful punt from the halfway line. Defender on his shoulder. Stops the ball dead & pokes it in the corner all with his left foot. On a technical level one of the best goals I've ever seen.
