Whoever we do bring in it is without doubt they will need to come up with 20 goals plus next season if we are to challenge for titles and trophies and if Aguero gets injured again or has an iffy season ........ well .........

I'm not sure I would be happy with Fred. Doesn't seem the type of player that would thrive in the PL. I think he would be another Robinho.
Gomez though, whatever people say about him, would get goals and perhaps reach 20 a season.
Negrado seems to be decent, but I'm not sure he would get 20+ goals a season.
Cardozo I think would be similar to Negrado. Decent, but 15-20 goals a season.

I could live with Higuin now Tevez has gone.

But apparently Pellegrini doesn't , we are not even linked to him in news. Pepe is being talked about but not Higuain.
If you do appreciate him, its Higuain !!

Lewandowski:
24 years old
6 ft tall
54 goals in 98 games for Dortmund (.55 goals/game)
17 goals 53 games for Poland
Seems to be a quicker version of Dzeko. As in quicker touches and quicker to pass or shoot. Comfortable in the air, gets on headers, lots of chest controls. Passes to teammates often. Powerful and direct in play and shooting. Huge reason why Dortmund went reached the CL final last year.

Higuaín:
25 years old
6 ft tall
107 goals in 187 games for Madrid (.57 goals/game)
20 goals in 32 games for Argentina
Incredible touch and very tricky to defend in the box. Can wiggle away from people with quick feet. Good shot from long range shot and curls the ball from outside the box well (like AJ used to). Likes to chip the keeper with a little flick. Was leading scorer and vice captain for a top 3 club in the world.

Personally, I think both would be a great addition but Higuaín would fit into our team and link up with existing players better (a bit more skillful and tricky). Lewandowski would be a good option for quick transitions, just like Dortmund play. Also not that it really matters, but Higuaín would probably be at least 30% cheaper.
