Hopefully not to us mate.
Rather him than others we've been linked to, Cavani notwithstanding.

I'd rather we just go and buy someone good.

Agreed. This guy would not substantially improve us or remotely change the dynamic of the squad.

Gotta be complete bollox but there's stuff out there about City getting close to both Reus and Lewandowski. It just can't be true.

Where are the rumours coming from mate as i can't find any on twitter?
Just seem to have read the same thing in a lot of articles on the net and in some of the broadsheets over the last few weeks. I find them quite hard to believe but if there is any truth in them then we should be all over this.

If we got Reus and Lewandowski I think Dortmund would be lucky to qualify for Europe next year, let's sign Subotic as well.

Exactly. Although with $$$$$$ from Gotze, Reus, Lewandowski, and some from Kagawa still they could buy some good players.

Although they may have difficulty in attracting these good players

Let's just buy messi and be done with it. Now we can see everyone ignoring FFP let's flash the Kaka cash again.
Now before anyone says anything, yes I remember getting mpenza on a free etc!

That's also true. Although the Bundesliga is on the rise and I've heard it considered the league overall (not just squad strength and competition), and the clearly have a good manager on their books and the fact that they won 2 Bundesliga titles recently and just got to the CL final (although, if this hypothetical occurs, the main/key players that helped achieve that would be gone)

Who's ignoring FFP other than 2 clubs in France? I doubt even they are ignoring it actually. They have made a business decision to spend the money to dominate their league whatever the consequences are for European participation. Without the spending they probably wouldn't make the Champions League anyway so the decision is to do it, live with an exclusion then gain entry when the books are balanced. Is a perfectly reasonable decision to make when the other option is to remain mid table. Means jack shit for City ignoring European FFP and even less for City when it comes to domestic FFP...

would hate that

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

That has to be one of the worst evaluations I've seen in a whole. I get that he's much more important to us that he might be else where but that's still quite low. 7.5mil would be something if like to see us get for him. Why would we sell such an integral player for cheap. Even if he doesn't play as much, what are gaining? Hell like last year javi (fernadinho this year) might not pan out and we'll need him.

Issue with Barry is nothing to do with his quality, All about age and the fact he has 1 year left on his deal.
I agree £3.5 million valuation is low but we have had our moneys worth out of him.
Also AS in Spain are reporting we are close to agreeing a deal for Negredo.
