Or , you and the other Mancini licker gang will hide under the shadows due to being too embarrassed to show your face as your predictions went to shit..........

Wrong as usual, I am not a Mancini licker, he underperformed, played poor unattractive football and was stubborn, therefore he got sacked. I thought he deserved one more year but I am not crying over the fact that he has gone, football is a ruthless business and clubs who don't move for better managers/players when they get the chance usually fall short, as City did last summer and so far this summer are repeating the errors of their ways.

Navas is a fantastic signing and Fernandhino showed me enough of what I have seen of him to tell me what kind of player he is , both are excellent First team choices unlike the dross we signed last year.

We are going forwards , you would have to be a blind cunt (or mancini rim licker) to not see it.

Your thread is utter garbage.

Haha, this.

Sandman, pal, buddy, you are a right fucking donut.

Gonna stop debating this point with the nostradamus of the north now.

Utter. waste. of. time.

I'll remind you of this when you're crying that we finish 3rd behind the Scum and Chelsea because they made improvements and we didnt.

Neither do anything to improve the clubs reputation at the top table and neither will replace Tevez. Again we have made mediocre signings and lost a big player.

Ok Nostrodamus.

Any chance you could predict me the euromillions? If you do I'll sign Cavani. Hows that?

Not a ball kicked yet and we get threads like this. I despair. I honestly do.

...Also while not wanting to continue to debate this (but reluctantly i'm biting) What improvements have the scum and Chelsea actually made??? As of today??

In all the whining about Isco and lack of marquee signings, very few people are mentioning the best signing we have made in Pellegrini. He has a proven track record of working with a team full of non galacticos, he can make a silk purse out of a sows ear so I believe that our current squad is something that he can engineer (see what I did there) into a mighty force that will challenge on a number of fronts in both league and cup. I would however be happy to see one striker and one central defender signed in this window.
Hoping our new rollercoaster gives us the thrill of our lives.

Just to play devil's advocate, what has he ever won in Europe?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Tevez aside (we still have to confirm a replacement for him) we are stronger at the moment than last season. There's a slight question mark over how our two newbies will like the Prem and perform in it but they have countrymen on the team already to help them adapt.

Considering the lack of funds at his disposal ,he got further than Mancini ever did and if it wasnt for a cheating scottish twat of a ref then he would have got even further.

FFP and back then the club needed big name players on huge wages like Yaya and Tevez to attract attention to City and to give the club a kick up the ass. Now, the club is more established and theyre coming to their senses about huge wages.

What the hell would we do with a strike force of Cavani, Dzeko, Aguero, and Lewandowski? Thats absurd. They would all be upset at not playing regularly and would all be on huge wages. We cant afford that (and i dont mean the Sheikh's bank account).

however, i believe missing out on Isco was huge and had we stumped up a few more million euros we'd have got him. then again, he just said RM were too big to turn down...so maybe we never had a chance once Zidane convinced him they were serious.

That is a rational point of view, we know he got a record points tally at Real but didn't win anything, the same can be said of his days as commander in chief of the yellow submarine. Winning is a mentality and that only applies to end result, league or cup. There is a belief system at work here, and in many ways we have to, as fans, buy into it. Pellegrini instills confidence in me, he seems like the kind of person I would respect and enjoy as a boss and from watching the video of his first 48 hours at City, that feeling has been strengthend. I believe in him, the same could and still can be said for mancini, from my point of view but I could also understand why he got the boot. I am going to enjoy Pellegrinis tenure, Isco or no disco

It is easier if you don't have them.

So true, however, as fans of our club with a new foreign coach, who we know something about but not much as we have not scrutinised games, strategies and match tactics using our own players who we feel we all know very well, especially their particular strengths and weaknesses. Everything is all conjecture until we get Ian significant number of games into the season to make an informed opinion.

So lets all have a debate at Christmas as we will know fuckall until then.
