Why is signing a cf when you have just signed a winger, 'reinventing the wheel' ? Surely 'doing the bleeding obvious' would be a better description ?

And who gives a fuck what Spain's manager thinks ?

True that.

Also must be said that while Higuain looks like an obvious deal we should be going for, if you look into it, the deal is widely believed to be above 50 million total (not including wages). This is because of all of the bonuses Real want attached to the deal.

There is good reason why only Arsenal are in for him. He is super pricey.

It's also worth considering why Real Madrid choose to get rid of a striker at his peak.

The answer; they don't think he's good enough.

Yeah, that also is very telling, if he was that good, at 25, they'd never ship him out.

I personally think City are making the right moves atm, no point breaking the bank on players like Higuain when players like Negredo and Osvaldo would do just as good a job.

Like i've said a billion times already in this thread, we are shopping for rotation options, not key starters, we have those, we now just need to buy the right lads to compliment Aguero/Dzeko and the new pelle system.

Didn't realise Osvaldo had already played for Pellegrini.

I couldn't understand the link but if he knows the player & wants him then it becomes more realistic.

Espanyol ?

Is that when it's supposed to have happened ?

Haha.

Edit: just looked at both their past clubs & there is no link. What kind of fucking wasters pose as sports journalists these days ? I mean, you hear something as simple as 'former player' & you expect it to be fucking true, not that some other bloke with a foreign sounding name beginning with 'P' was once his manager so that will do. Ffs.

Klopp is quoted to say that Lewandoski to Bayern is a done deal, but that he won't move there until next summer.

I guess that's one more factor taken out of this summer's striker transfer equation.

yes most likely, but since there's a limited number of top strikers out there, there's a domino effect if one is taking out of the equation. Scum now have to focus their efforts on another striker, that perhaps was on the radar of another club, etc., etc., in absurdum.

Nava AND Negredo IMHO are gambles both have never been out of La Liga, Higuain is not being bombed out he has been asked to stay by Madrid, that is the delay on his move to Arse, he wants to move, its time to move on, stop slanting shite opions into replies Ted, with your own view, as for the Spain manager, Classic. better judges than you and I are saying he is the better player, just as many say we have had our arses slapped on the fee for Ferdy, Not my opinion that of Tim Vicary South American soccer expert.

Newcastle would be a good move for Sinclair - I still think he would be daft to leave before the new manager had a look at him though.
