Favorite two bits (paraphrased):

Journalist - The plan stated by the club is to win 5 trophies in 5 years. Is this possible for you to do?

Pelli - Only 5? We can do better than that.

Journalist (to Fernandinho) - What is your first impressions of Manchester City?

Fernandinho (stone cold stare) - Very good.

Pelli seems confident and that makes me confident. He's also very relaxed with the press but not afraid to call bullshit. Fernandinho seems very focused which can only be a good thing. You can tell he's ready to prove himself and make a big impact after 8 years in Ukraine.

Loved it, thought he spoke very well and I'm excited to see what football we play.

Fernandinho's response was classic.

You know that whooshing sound? Don't be alarmed, that's just the joke going over your head. Try to laugh along and pretend like you got it.

That whooshing sound was his latest disguise leaving his cue ball.

Nicely done PD; gently droll and suitably wry.

A+ to you for content and delivery.

That raised a smile. Nice one.

Vincent is a truly class act....not many like him in football. Very happy and proud that he is our captain, represents the club exceptionally well.

Pelly is pretty cool so far, very warm and quite a charmer. I have good vibes about the changes he will bring

I agree, Despite all the talk of egos in our dressing room, with balo gone and to a lesser extent Tevez (who by all accounts was very well regarded by his teammates) I actually see most of our players as having a fairly compliant attitude and that anyone who can harness that in a positive manner can bring the potential of the group to the fore in a manner that Mancini never fully managed for an extended period.

A calm and assured leader inspiring confidence and belief off the pitch, and a number of players who can fulfil that role on the pitch in Hart, Kompany, Barry, Milner, I can see this bringing only positive changes in team spirit and any new signings seem to be erring on the side of team players and avoiding the big mega star obvious signings is a welcome move for me.

Having said all that, watch us go and bring tranny in now to blow all that out of the water.
