Court sees CCTV of Ray Wilkins' alleged outburst

Former England and Chelsea footballer Ray Wilkins unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade after he was revealed to be three times over the legal drink-driving limit, a court heard today.

Wilkins, 56, allegedly slurred his words, was unable to stand up and was forced to lean on his Jaguar car for support, then fell asleep in a police car after he was pulled over last year.

The Sky Sports pundit was later taken into custody where he apparently struggled to give a sample of his breath and branded police procedures a "f****** joke", the court heard.

Wilkins was arrested on 7 May 2012 after an officer on patrol spotted his car "weaving" down the road moments after it allegedly "lurched" forward and hit a traffic island near the pundit's home in Cobham, Surrey.

In CCTV footage played to the court, Wilkins is heard to say: "F****** hell, I can't even phone my missus. This is a f****** joke. I'm not going to bash up anybody... this is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous."

They should bring back hanging for the like of Wilkins. And as for his drink-driving, don't get me started.

At least the police knew already who it was behind the wheel as the vehicle was moving from side-to-side at the time!! Remember him not only as a Rag twat but the one time I actually cheered one of our International players getting sent off during an England World Cup match.

Remember quite liking him until I went to a home International at The Racecourse between Wales and England. Ball went out of play and he shot a torrent of foul mouthed abuse at a ballboy who wasn't quick enough in getting the ball back to him. The only other memorable moment from that game was our former manager scoring the winner.

Can you narrow it down a bit for me, please, mate?
