Sorry, I couldn't resist. I was going to ask about Gollums press conference this morning but that gif just had to be posted.

Anyway, the reason it's been a few minutes is because I've just been looking for the presser on the net. Whilst monging it this morning, SSN were making a big thing of the 'Live' presser coming from down under so I thought I'd listen in. What was noticeable was that their press lady took control of the presser from the start and when asked about CF and Shrek, to dig a little deeper, she moved them on saying 'That's already been answered, next'. Then there was the questions on RvP which she allowed to go on and on. Moyes also said that it was night time in the UK yet it was actually morning.

There were quite a few other things and it was interesting to see a live presser from them. Now, I've never seen this and it seemed that the presser was controlled from start to finish. Gollum was allowed to answer a few questions but the press lady ensured that he didn't have full control, not like BF had anyway. He seemed limited in his view (apart from RvP, who he absolutely adores) and it's become quite obvious that they need Shrek off the books before bringing targets in.

Also, what is interesting is how Sky have edited the original version to not include any negative/defensive media. I've checked quite a few vid's out but have not seen anything of questions being stopped et al. It was quite strange that they even gave a summary of what was said in the interview straight after the presser fininshed.

It seems that Moyes is there as a puppet for the club, telling everybody who they are going to sign (would you really put the CF interest out there for all to see) and just promoting there wares for the market.

I think what I'm really getting at is 'How long will he last?' as he looks like a rabbit in the headlights at the moment?

The vultures are circling mate, ive mentioned it before that he is struggling to come to terms with it all - a shadow of the man at little Everton, now he's playing with the big boys

Edit to say: he'll get much more time than anyone else before the press turn on him, they're still suckling on the scum teats.

I've just picked up the Sun and they are saying that the Rags aren't selling him for anything and that Chelseas 20 mil bid had been rejected. I thought that Rooney had come out and said that he had not put a transfer request in and that Chelsea had confirmed a 10 mil bid, not 20?

I'm confused.

Even though i have my sky blue tinted glasses on the very recent press conferences the scum have put together Moyes looks totally out of his depth for sure ! Ok he is very new but he will have been relentlessly briefed by the rag "heirachy" ...... this has also been noticed by rag fans i know very well , they are noticeably uncomfortable already ;-) . The media propaganda machine however as we all know will paint another picture ...... even the shrek situation could derail Moyes,s tenure before it has even started but the rag media will be leiniate and loyal to Moyes and the rags beyond reasonable fiction ! Oh for a couple of early premiership disasters for those cunts ....... dreams are made of this shit for sure ! ;-)

Think the papers said £10m and Mata. Then Chelsea said they'd bid, but it was cash only. Rumour seems to be about £20m.

I'm not sure Chelsea really want him, unless they can get him cheap. I'm convinced this is mind games by Mourinho - play on the rift between Shrek and the rags and cause problems in the camp. It wouldn't have worked with BF in charge, but he's smelt weakens in Moyes. Wenger even joined in saying that Fabregas isn't for sale, as Arsenal need to be told first.

Let's hope Pellegrini does mind games

I'd say there is a power vacuum at the club with lots of vested interests vying to have their say. It won't end well.

But it's not like he is facing a "new" press, it'll be the same media he faced at Goodison as such? It's not as if he his new to this country and English not his mother language?

Guess what I am trying to say is, he has bitten off Moore than he can chew and everyone knows it including the rags top to bottom.

The Count on the other hand, new country and probably the most in your face media anywhere, English not his mother tongue.... All of a sudden, I'm feeling a lot happier.

Regardless of it being the rags, the press will smell weakness and it will only be a matter of time before the hacks start to turn I reckon. Especially with the likes of Maureen and mind games, watch this space...

I am watching it intensley ;-) Maureen also has it all to do with that ageing squad he has inherited plus he is stuck with Torres and BA ..... Lukaku could be interesting , we will see. Whinger is just so full of shit these days he is hardly worth listening to , i mean why the fuck is he still at Arsenal ???? ;-)

I see the Rags won 5-1 today and all is right with the world again. Seems Gollum is talking up the mid-games with Maureen, really looking forward to it apparently. Sounds like Maureen's already getting up Gollums nose.
