Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm getting a bit fed up with him mouthing off at every available opportunity.
His latest, "It's not all about the money" bollox is just hypocritical.

Every team that has won the premier league has done so with money behind them, that's it, end of discussion.

Cech's "money has never won anything" comment is so funny on so many levels.

Did that klonk on the head a few years ago make him forget the gazillion Chelsea have spent, doing exactly the same thing - buying success!

Every team that has won the Prem has effectively bought success, including homegrown Utd with their umpteen expensive imports that they forget about when talking about money, or the fact that Ferguson broke the UK transfer record many times as well.

Cheslsea's "the system XI"

Cech - Azpilequeta, Luiz, Cahill, Cashley - Fat Frank, Ramires, Hazard, Mata, Oscar - Torres
(Homegrown talents the lot of them. Not)

Man Utd "the system XI"

De Gea - Jones, Wio, Vidic, Evra - Valencia, Carrick, Kagawa, Young - Rooney, RVP
(Homegrown talents all. Not)

You could also list umpteen subs for either one as well, but the utter hypocrisy is very thick in the air anyway.

I always love pointing these facts out to spastics whenever they point out WE are buying success and THEY aren't.

I read an article in 4-4-2 that stated Fatty Lampard was a Chelsea academy product.

So sad.

I watched the interview with cech and his quotes are being taken out of context completely. Nothing new for the gutter press, he didn't say anything bad against us.

I couldn't believe the headline when I saw it. Then I read the actual quotes and remembered that sub-editors like to make things sound more controversial than they are

Thing is Slim, theres plenty of Reds out there who count the likes of Phil Jones (£18m) and Chris Smalling (£12m) as homegrown purely because they are English.

In that case, Milner, Barry and Lescott are homegrown too :)
