That was pretty much my description, but I said hi vis writing.

Why is it part shiny? Do they sell a gimp mask accessory to go with it?

The good news is, I won't be shelling out for a new kit this season. I'll stick with the Umbro ones from the FA cup season, when they looked great and were in a nice material.

That and the orrange one were all part of a bigger plan to ensure this years shite efforts weren't the worst ever.

I also own the orange one, bought a Michael Johnson match issue one off Stephen Ireland's charity website.

Even though there's a good cause involved it's probably the worst combination ever.

But at least it was a totally unique one off never to be repeated (both the colour and the player wearing it in a match!)

I had really liked the pre release photos of this kit. Sadly disappointed. Like everyone else has said it's so damn shinny and I don't get the button up. It's not a kit where a button up looks good at all.

Black and grey shiny bat-suit type clingy material and a badge as big and as daft as the sharp end of a grave diggers shovel?
Dear me, I hate to be negative about anything City related but, much as it pains me to say it, I wouldn't buy that shark-bait of a shit shirt even it it were going for £1 a throw in the OS Shop Outlet . . and with postage for free and discounted 10% again for membership. . . . . . and even though I do love a bargain!

On the plus-side, it's about the only negative there is at the moment given the positivity of our much respected new manager, our robust & early actioned summer signings and jamie oliver jazzing up the half-time burgers.

It's great to be Blue (black & grey shiny seal suits not so great though)!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Not impressed with either Nike effort so far so no new shirt for my hols. Would've gone for the away but can't see black being very comfortable in Portugal in August. As for our old shirts, I tend to steer clear of any containing citrus colours.

I wear one every Friday, casual dress day at work, so add that to the list of things you don't understand.

I wear one at least 3 times a week for football training. I actually wore the silver shiny effort just last night....sometimes I mix it up though and wear a City training top....is that acceptable?

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012
