Daft attempt to avert attention from Maureens Rooney- move, expect a senior rag player in the press any minute saying Shrek would never join Chelsea, how he loves Manure yadda yadda as a reply to Pique's comments

As Ive said before, its "for show" bidding, done very publicly to make the fanbase happy; The first offer was a joke, and further offers are lodged to make it look like they are trying though they know it has little or no chance.

If you are in negotiation for a big name player, the last thing you do is run to the press every time to tell them you are about to bid .... unless of course you are doing it for the publicity and not actually trying to negotiate a successful pursuit. All you need to do is leak some info to one of the many Utd sycophants in the press and they do the rest - hey presto, free publicity on that and no focus on Moyes himself and the pressure he is under.

I remain hopeful that Frank O'Farrell mkII is upon us.

With news leaking that Real have agreed a contract with Bale, that pipe dream signing has also been exposed quickly too.

Real are more likely to sign Javi Garcia to their squad for next season than sell Ronaldo to Utd either, so where does that leave Moyes? A £15m plunge for Ross Barkley is my best guess.

Amazing how Gollum has changed doing his business. He whinged to high heaven about public bids when we chased Lescottt, yet here he is a few years down the line, doing the exact same thing.

Do as I say, and not as I do in its most glorious form.

He did moan about public bids for lescott, yet it was him that kept telling press. Weird.

I'm with this guy. Fabregas is a very talented and sometimes fantastic player but he's not a player you can rely on. He let Arsenal down on several occassions and I just don't think he's been tested in Barcelona, with the real responsibility lying on the shoulders of Messi, Iniesta and to a lesser degree Xavi.

There are several better players they can buy. I'm not saying United' would be making a bad purchase, Fabregas is class, but he's not all that. And he's not a leader and I'd say that's what United needs more than anything.

I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

That was just classic, all that Lescott isn't for sale saga, and making out that salt of the earth Everton were being bullied by moneybags City, only to turn round at the end and say if the money was right to start with it wouldn't have been a problem.

I remember that backheel he did which lost arsenal the ball and then barca scored. at the end of that season, fabregas joined barca

Because he's a fuckwit who used the press to his advantage in squeezing transfers in/out of Everton to gain as much advantage as possible? If he thinks it works now he's sadly mistaken - most of the past rag business has been done behined closed doors with very well timed leaks when needed. I really want him to fuck up big time and start crying.

I dont know what to make of this transfer malarky either, Barca say he isn't going anywhere, Arse say they havent been informed of any bids as per thier clause but goggle face is spewing this out in a manor that you'd suspect something has gone on to give confidence to do this...

And I would be worried arround Cesc joining rags (well I would have been if they had a good manager in charge who'd know how to use him), his link up with RVP would be pretty deadly if they do it right, and wouldnt need too much time to bed in.

Certainly won Arsenal a lot of trophies.

Moyes talking about Chelsea and Rooney today.

Q: are chelsea wasting their time with all this.....FUSS back home with rooney.

A: Well we've said and the clubs said he's not for sale and that's not changed.

Hmmmmmmm. How long till they up their bid for fabregas again after he and barca have said no twice already.

This is the same as the rags' Van Persie tactic but in reverse.

Rags want him to put in a written transfer request, Chelsea are convinced he will sign for them, so are playing the long game, hoping rags crack like Arsenal did.

We should put a huge bid in, then withdraw it when all the trogs have wrecked his house.

The rags aren't arsenal though are they. Arsenal under achieve every season, the scum over achieve every season. Plus if arsenal had kept hold of some of the players they have got rid of they would be a much bigger threat.

Fabregas is exactly the type of player the scum need to keep them over achieving. He is the type of player who can turn a game with a few minutes of effort/brilliance and win them a game they should of lost.

Funnily enough we just got rid of the only player we had that ever does that for us.

It remains to be seen what the rags actually are now, but Fabregas is not someone I am worried about. Clever player but Nasri caused us just as many problems, in fact more.

If they lose Rooney & gain Fabregas, our chancs of beating them 2 or 3 times go up by about 30% imo.

He is a better player than anyone we have signed.

Don't think the rags will get him either way. He is far too good a player for them.

It appears it may all have been a smokescreen as the rags flex their muscles with a move for Naismith. We should have known they had something up their sleeves.

Just my take on the situation .....

Gollum and the rags have been told in no uncertain circumstances by Barca (thru the media) to fuck off .

Rooney has been left out to hang dry by Gollum and the rags (thru the media)

Meanwhile Gollum and the rags are still stuck with Anderson , Nani and Cleverly ???? Oh and OAP Giggs ???

Fuck me what a mess ! ;-)
Not really here

This perfectly illustrates the arrogance of the rags. Upset with the rumor of Bale going to Real.

So we are ready to suffer a dip in our revenues from the TV revenue so that the other teams get more cash so that the quality of league is high. Now, to repay us for our kindness we get a massive f*** you from one of those teams who are benefiting massively because of the same arrangement, and that team refuses to sell us the player even if that means reducing the overall quality of the league. This seems like a lose-lose arrangement for us. Keep in mind Spurs are not in direct competition with us.
