The third-kit looked great when I first saw it. But now I'm wondering if it's got that badge that's 'as big as the sharp end of a grave-digger's shovel' on it. I hope not.

They're going to cling to the 'chest' of your average football fan even more then.

Why don't they add something useful to them, like a batman style set of fake abs?

That shirt is absolutely horrible. I thought nike spent millions developing material that breathes specifically to stop this. Are these shirts made of greaseproof paper?

The version the players wear is a lot different than what is sold in stores. Nike sells 2 versions of the U.S. national team kit. The authentic kit is $149.99 (£97.71) and the replica kit is $84.99 (£55.36). If they did this for City I would buy an authentic kit. The quality is a lot better than the replica kit..

The authentic ones are probably made by even younger children, with nimbler fingers...

You want better quality stitching, you get even younger children to sew the garments.

That's taking multitasking to the extreme.

I used to have a red and black striped shirt which I loved to wear. But then that was 1970 and I was 8 and I don't see the point in paying £60 for some recycled bottles . So shoot me.

When I go to the match I wear weather appropriate clothing! I'm no Geordie.

I do get a giggle out of the self importance of football fans that never buy/wear a football kit.

Some of aren't too cool to support our team by wearing the shirt.

I don't come on these threads every few months and blag it about how shit it is not to buy one, so why feel the need to act like a knob about those that do?
