All in all a pretty drab affair lacking in creativity. However, Fernandinho looked good, as did Superjaw. The lesbian was a bit off and on for me, I still saw too many of his bad habits from last season.

The big big big positive for me was that there were no injuries. I'm sure after seeing Vertonghen or however it's spelt get stretchered off they would have been on high alert. They seemed to be going through the motions, controlling possession and avoiding any potential sticky situations.

Except for Micah. :-)

I thought Fernandinho ran around a lot! Not sure he used the ball as well as Yaya and Barry but it's early days.

Milner best player by a country mile, but then it's his sort of conditions!

Interesting reports this morning from SSN that Premier League chief Scudamore is facing accusations that the pitch for the Asia Cup was dangerous and players were put at risk yesterday !

Quinn and Tyler were "giving it us " large all match though despite the obvious and a nasty injury to Vertonghen in the first match ! cunts !

Negredo looks great , and what is great hes one of those striker who can play with others .Look very strong and fast on video and looking for other players . I can see some different things, faster moving balls forward , deep balls ,and plan B and even plan C in ways how we can play and adjust in game.Ballo and Dzeko never could play even Dzeko play with big striker great in Wolfsburg with Graffite but i think him and Negredo could play and to that u add Aguero who we know he can do when he have hes day anything .And we have now more option with Silva Jovetic and Yaya will be more free now we have Fernandinho.I have good felling Pelle will make this in great force.Waiting to see how Jovetic will connect and how will we play next game. And Pelle look like good motivator from what i read from players.

Superjaw - Milner (Best performer)
Lesbian - Nasri (On and Off)

The most interesting thing about Negredo's performance for me was when he chased hard after a lost cause pass which was going out for a goal kick. Showed good pace to get there, slide, and put the ball out for a throw instead.

Obviously keen to impress in his first hit out but if he takes that attitude into the season it's a very good start. Big lad too, should put himself about nicely.

It would be hard to play park the bus now against us much harder then before. Can not wait for the season to start sort of excited to see what I think City can be especially in the Champions League. I want to become a team that scares others. Although we won the title and the FA Cup we have not given the impression of force that we really should be with the squad that we had and have now . I mean the most damage to us is the Champions League took the reputation we made in EPL and our variable form, but the season when we won the title we started so strong and aggressive that concern many people with ease we destroy teams giving 4 5 goals per game and dominate with brute force in games. I want to be that team again and stay that way , it s ok to lose a game us long u can see that we play good and many of our games we look like average team. But i have good felling that Pelle will make something great.

We will have to face a tough group and break through. It's a vicious circle otherwise.
