Any news from anyone about his injury? Seems to me we'll be signing Pepe for sure if it's a bad one.

No news about the severity, but I read a quote attributed to Pellegrini saying it wasn't the pitch, he'd been (accidentally) kicked or trodden on. Here's hoping it's not serious or long term.

What I saw on the TV was Wickham kick him on his right ankle as he went past, it was clear from the camera behind the goal too. Nasty's grimaced as he landed his right foot immediately after the kick and then he went down a few strides later as Kolarov lunged to put the ball out for a corner. He was in a lot of pain, I hope it's just bruising but there is a danger of a fracture. The state of the pitch was responsible for Wickham sliding sideways out of control though.

"Good afternoon to everyone! Time has come to sound again through the social network .. First of all, I used the opportunity to thank to many fans in Hong Kong who have been with us all this time , you were unbelievable support and big thanksgiving to you for that.

I hope we can hang out with you again, next years, it was our honor and pleasure, we felt as at home. Shortly before we arrived in Manchester, with her wear nice experience.

Now I move on to the main point ..
Yesterday on the game, I experienced a violation, it is a violation of Art.

I still do not know how long I will be away from the field, the only thing I can tell you it is appointment is later and I'll know more about the injury.
I hope it will not be anything of a serious nature, I'm not a pessimist, but I am a optimist!
If i have not you .. It would seem very difficult, but your support means a lot and thank you a lot on it!
You helping me a lot to get through of this.
I want to say thanks for your messages of support I have received roads Facebook profiles, page, there were quite a lot and it would be very ungrateful if someone does not respond, therefore the only thing I can say to you I read all from first to last!
And to all of you, this time i say you thanks!

Sounds like he was tackled by Tracey Emin, or rather bought something by her....

that would lay you low for a while

anyway apparently the press have been told he'll miss the start of the season - various reports popping up as I write.

Thats not good. Kompany and Lescott make for a good pairing, but Kompany and Nasty is even better. Need cover for Kolo tho, and apparently our new regime doesn't think much of Boyata eh?

Hope he's alright and that he won't be out long. It would be a setback to him (and us) considering how well he played last season. it's never good when young payers get their development interrupted by long term injuries.

And although I think Lescott has a another year in him, I'm a bit worried about back-up, should we not sign Pepe.
If Richards, Garcia and Boyata are all we have to fall back on if Kopmany and/or Lescott are out, i will be seriously worried.

Doesn't sound good - more tests will determine if he needs surgery!

If he needs an operation on his ankle ligaments he won't play for 6 months which would be a disaster. Without an operation he might play in 6 weeks so come back after the international break. Unless the ligaments are very weak he won 't need surgery. Fingers crossed. I don't understand how a kick could damage his ligaments though. Normally that comes from a twisting motion.

Where does it say anything about ligaments? I was under the impression it was possibly a fracture. Would fit in with the kick, too. In that case he could be back in a month or two even after surgery, if he's 'lucky'.

Unless we've been "panic negotiating" for him for the last month or so I don't think it would really be a panic buy ;-)

Oh how I thought we'd found a gem haha.

All last seasons buys could have an argument made for panic buys if one was so inclined.

Last seasons' buys included Nastasic, the player we are apparently panic buying to cover for.
