Ha ha! No, it was more about accessibility. Around then sports bar started popping up, which meant that I could watch more games on the telly. And I also got internet at home, which meant that i could start reading stuff about the club on the net (mainly MEN and the OS before I found this place) and eventually watch streams.

I'm not. I think very few posters on here are post-takeover fans. Maybe 1 or 2 of the Americans, plus the Dzeko crowd (Cit.Revenge aside - he's at least Thaksin) and a few others. Mancio self-claims his heritage to the 60s, I think. I'm surprised there aren't more in the Wardle group, as that's when our international exposure increased dramatically, what with re-promotion to the Premiership and the increased availability of games abroad...
