Very disappointing from the club, Suarez looked one of the few who may have been able to make it.

I thought it was the main aim of the club to bring guys like him through... hmmmmm

playing for barcelona b has to be better than playing in the eds. personally, i doubt that he'll ever make an appearance for their first team proper though. hope for his sake i'm proved wrong....

having second teams that play at a decent level week in week out is why the spanish, dutch, germans have such good production lines of young talent. the fa should take note

I said after his showing in the pre season game, that both him & Razak had been handed a big chance & showed nothing. Put Peter Barnes, Paul Lake, even David White at the same age in the same situation & we would have been talking about little else.

This season has to be 1st team, loan, or sell re Suarez. He's shown nothing to put him ahead of the other younger kids regarding the first team, & if it's a choice between being on loan at Grimsby, then probably released/sold or moving to Barca, which would you prefer ?

He has to play or go somewhere.

I won't be bothered if Suarez goes. Granted, he hasn't been given too many opportunities but every time I've seen him play (for us or for Spain UXX-team he has failed to impress/really make his mark on the game. Just some neat moves here and there - showing potential.. but no more yet

also, his new manager has also seen him so if San Pellegrino felt he is that important, he wouldn't be allowed to leave (permanently)
