I don't believe the 10m bid. From one of these skint tight fisted Italian teams? Nope. If someone offered 10 we could find a backup for less than half of that. Easily.

Don't rate Kolarov at all but he wasn't any worse than any other player yesterday! Clichy is in another league to him as a player but was quite poor vs Cardiff which isn't like him.
IMO , I'd start Clichy whenever he is fit but Pelle obviously wanted to go with Kola for one reason or another.

Maybe it was a kick up the arse for Clichy? No point in having options and never using them

Clichy is a worry.

He was the best defensive left back in the country in his 1st season imo, but too many people are getting round him on both sides.

Kolarov is a bag of shite who is usually somewhere else.
