I was absolutely 100% for fucking him off & strongly wishing for it but he has really worked hard to redeem himself & definitely has been more effective than Silva when not forced to play as a winger (at which, he is shit).

Agree loads. There was a very notable turn around in the last month of the season and his attitude has been excellent. I reckon he'd rotate really well with Silva, though i don't actually think that'll happen often as i can see Jovetic doing that instead.

I'd sell him tomorrow if I thought he was going to be asked to play left wing all season. Waste of time.

Anyway people, you're boring me now. I'm off to watch Harry Potter!

PS. Nasri's a good player, you just can't see it.

No doubt the rest of the PL will be saying "bring on Man City", after that performance!

Overall I don't think we were all that bad to be honest. Our general play was good we were moving the ball around at a nice tempo and we created a few good chances.Negredo could easily have bagged himself a hatrick today.

On the balance of play we were the better side but the goals we conceded were poor and playing Arsenal our defence should have been expecting them to try and hit us this way.The finishes however were tidy and Joe could do little to stop any of them, still disappointing to see him beaten in three one on one situations.

The setanta commentary was diabolical almost as bad as the referee. He must have had a wager on Arsenal.

To be fair, however we think of individual performances you can't say it's been a good performance when we've conceded three goals
AND lost
(5-3 against a still-rusty Milan side wasn't too bad, but it was still bad!)

well im going to overeact..

and said the exact same thing as above: ''we look the same, but with a shitter defence''

i hope we have goals in us because we need someone lethal, not tame arse shots straight at the keeper the rare time we get a shot off..

Calm the fuck down. They are playing these friendlies while trying to build base fitness for long season and trying to avoid injury. Win, loss or draw they mean fuck all and never really predict howbthe season will turn out.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I disagree, I think we'll get relegated.

Love this pre-season hype, madness and exhilaration. Only one captain for the team. B/R commented on Kompany and his education. Seems most of the team are in sync and preparing for a LONG (50 plus game season) and high-pressure season.
Good things only to come.

Did you see me go into "we are going to win Champions League" hype mode after Chelsea and Milan like some people? No you didn't. Friendlies are training exercises. Nothing more nothing less.
