Very happy. Only thing spoiling it is the shit, shit, shit refereeing.

Get Dave off now, no need to risk him if he's got a niggle.

Cracking half.

Forget the slick passing, goals or classy defending. What I'm loving is our pressing and desire to win the ball.

Now, that was interesting. We played some lovely football and the balance seems really good. Most of them look like they've settled into the system already and the only one who looks a little lost with it is Navas. He does drag people in though and his freekicks are sublime.

Dzeko though, what a totally different player. His 1st touch looks excellent, his movement is bamboozling their defence and the effort he is putting in is incredbible. Sergio for a bloke who hasn't played is looking on fire, same with many others, even Joleon's looking like a total footballer (less that pass).

Funniest moment was when Sergio looked to ask Taylor if he'd hurt his arm, sure did get to him.

Second half, get into their fullbacks in early and drag the team all over the park. The FBs are both on yellows and can't even attempt a dodgy challenge. Possibly Negrado on after giving Sergio a run-out and really put them under pressure.

Excellent first 45 and now is the time to make a statement, we've got the option out wide and teams who want to park the bus will have real problems.

Referee: Well done. He's brought the game back into line after the Arse game and has been honest to both sides.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Last season it look like Dzeko - Aguero combination will never work, now it looks like they might be our best striker partnership

Hats off to Count

Fred has been a bit hot and cold, done some very good things and some kinda ordinary. Navas linked up well early but then settled into passing back like Nasri used to, with his speed Zabs should be looking to isolate him against a single defender more rather than squeezing his space, but I am sure they'll get that right after a few games.

Nasri for Dave. It's not worth the risk. See if Nasri can play the role too.

Kompany, Lescott, Yaya, Fernadinho, a hard working Dzeko. Our central line is hard as rocks, but we still got the flair. I bloody love it!

Looks like franz is playing it safe today. I'm ok with that today as there are still flashes of class

Jesus looks like things just not running for him today but still adding to our threat

The days when it really really clicks we will be fucking terrifying

We will also become the team people like to watch
