Well, if Zabba's was a penalty, that definately was.

Even the commentators are saying it's a penalty.

His arm was pointing straight up and went into the ball. could have dropped to a villa player too. Vilahave been screwed this game

How many times do we see the top teams getting the decisions, the Rags get them regularly. It's in the Premier Leagues interest to keep it close or have their most productive customers seeing their team at the top.

Just seen the Ivanovich incident, there is no way the ref can give a yellow there, it's either nothing or a red. Herein is the problem. Referee's are given instruction to interpretate as they want, or possibly as perscibed, take your choice.

And the Terry penalty incident, well, that just compounds the problem.

City looking good, the Rags playing to win and Chelsea looking like they drop a couple. The ref evens it up and the board cannot even look at it because he's given a yellow. Pure shithouse for me, but what do I know.

Guzan just gave the ref some shit as the game finished. Looked like it was justified but when a shothouse has the full force of the law on his side, he can do whatever he wants.

I'm expecting another season dominated by decisions and it'll wind me up like fuck. Why, I don't know as I see it coming. I just wonder what the score would've been for us on Monday if the referee played fair.

Anyway, a decent start to the season that's given us all food for thought. Objectively, I'd say we played the best football and subjectively I'd say that the Premier League will make a fist of it regardless.

Looking forward to the weekend and, as always, will be concentrating on City.

Looking good.

Going off the reffing so far this season the PL looks scripted. We should get foreign refs in, sick of this shit.

Ha ha ha, how patronising is Mourinho?

2153: MANAGER REACTION - Chelsea 2-1 Aston Villa

More from Jose Mourinho, this time on Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert's protests that Branislav Ivanovic should have been sent off for a clash with Christian Benteke before heading home Chelsea's winner: "Benteke makes a lot of fouls and the opponent who plays against him has to make a lot of fouls.

"Paul Lambert reminds me of me at his age. Now I complain with some decisions, at his age I complained at every decision. Paul complains at every decision, I was the same. Benteke and Ivanivic, they are two giants, it was 50/50."

And that's one of the reasons I would never like this cunt at City.

And the PL take them from obscurity to a pile of money, compared. It won't happen mate, Riley is the PLs spoken to the ref's, nothing will change.

Very nice goal. Is the Barca reign over, all good things must come to an end.

With shirts like that, I think it's inevitable.

And it went in."

Despise him more than I do Moyes. With him and John Terry at the club I'm torn between who I dislike more out of Chelsea and the Rags.

Meh. Catalonia schmatalonia. I remember Barcelona as a place filled with quite arrogant people and there's nothing about Barcelona FC that makes me think that my experience was a coincidence.

Didn't see the Chelsea game, but I'm not surprised Villa gave them a fright. Imo, in comparison, they were considerably better than Utd at the weekend once they settled, & fully deserved to beat Arsenal. If they could maintain that standard, they could finish top 6, but no doubt it will go pear shaped.
