I'll be trying my best to enjoy Sunday but I do fear for our team.
It's how we react afterwards that matters both on & off the field.
I will be glad to see the back of this game, and hope that we can hold Man City to a respectable score, 3-0 or less. Next week no doubt we will bring in a couple of players which we patently need and our season can start in earnest.
I also hope that our fans, myself included will show support on Sunday and the week ahead.
The on-paper Talent gap is undeniable.
I suppose our bigger concern is - have we got our Mojo working yet?
If we had come into this after good run of form - then who knows.
If we start this one wholly on the back foot .. ouch.
Most of us can cope with seeing the Bluebirds lose. We have seen it often enough and have got used to it.
I just want us to give them a hard time, and not to capitulate.
Not really a lot on their site yet but will check again tomorrow. They have a prediction thread going for the game here are a few snippets.
2-1 city corny and medel shrug
1-4.
Hope I'm wrong.
0-6 hope I am wrong
Are the predictions supposed to be realistic or do people genuinely think we can do it? Hard to see anything other than a Man City win and generally, i'm very optimistic.
1-4.
Hope I'm wrong but can't see it unfortunately. Can see us grabbing a goal though which is a positive hehe
Waterlogged pitch. Postponed until Armageddon.
1-0 ... early goal for us then 11 behind the ball....
You bunch of negative TOSSERS !!!!
2-2 at worst.
2-0 at best.
BLUEBIRDS !!!!!! Ayatollah Ayatollah Ayatollah Ayatollah
Man City. Hoping it's just a 2-0 hammering. Can't see us scoring
If we score at any point it's progress. Even if we lose 5-1.
Well i think you get the jist they are shitting it thinking we will muller them.More later.
This from another of their forums that i just found.

Get the Vaseline ready.
£85million buys you wins against the likes of us, fact!
some journo from the weekend reckons west ham never got out of third gear to beat us, if that is the case then i am kind of dreading sunday. we may very well roll over and let them tickle our bellies.
ah well all fun and games hey gents
I think it will be a 4-0 loss, and I'm still positive about survival. There is no shame in losing to what is effectively a European all-star side. Our points will come against sides like Sunderland, Hull, Palace, Fulham, Stoke etc, not well drilled teams away or Champions League sides at home. Fulham had a horrendous run last year and were mid-table, Stoke effectively spent the season after Christmas losing and stayed up. So we are still fine after this weekend, even if we lose badly
Everton are bette than us, but looked shaky against Norwich. That's where out focus should be.
The goal at Man City is purely to limit to them to less than five i reckon
