Summer transfer thread!

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Thing is Spurs NEED to sell, because of FFP. A team not in Champs league spending over £100m would be financial suicide with the new constraints.
Arse are waiting for the deal to be done to try and tie up Di Maria and Benzema I suspect.
The longer it takes the less time Wenger will have to tie up his targets, although Wonderwall is right Arsenal should just get everything in place so it's a formailty on Monday. My only doubt is the more time Wenger has the more he talks himself out deals.
I hate to say it but Levy and Spurs are playing are blinder, cos they've got Arsenal waiting for it all to happen.

I think that's the point TW was making, Spurs waiting till the last second means Arsenal have less time, although they did sign Flamini for nowt. Marquee signing done!

i wonder who Arsenal will sign:

Kaka, Kalou, Julio Cesar, Ozil, Di Maria, Benzema, Mata, Milligan, Carlton Cole, Cabaye, Draxler, Michu, Ashley Williams.

They're linked with everyone.

And United upping their bid for Herrera and De Rossi.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak to sign for Anzhi

Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak says he has signed for Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala pending a work permit.
The Ivorian has made just five Premier League appearances for City since joining from Crystal Palace in 2010.
He had spells on loan at Portsmouth, Brighton and Charlton Athletic.
"To confirm I've signed for FC Anji awaiting a work permit. Would like to thank everyone at MCFC plus the fans," Razak, 20, said on Twitter.

Good luck to him but another one who seems to have gone backwards over the last couple of years. He was never going to get a sniff at City in that position unless he had developed exceptionally

Anyone actually watch enough La Liga to have an informed opinion of the modern day Demichelis? Particularly if hes backup to VK or we think will command a starting birth alongside him?

I've not seen him myself, but I have read a few reports on here about him that said he was voted a quality defender in the spanish league in the last couple of seasons.

Yes I watch a bit - he's experienced (obv) but slower than Garcia - not sure he's the right signing personally
