Transfer deadline day

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Transfer deadline day

Postby Fesan » Sun Sep 01, 2013 7:40 pm

Thought I'd get the ball rolling.

What do we need? Except a CB (that is covered with Demichelis, we hope).

I'd say we need another creative mid to back up Silva. Nasri is decent but not the creative mastermind we need IMO. I'd love to see Ozil come in, always liked his play (not his face:P).

I'd also like to see another pacy winger like Navas, I mean if he gets injured we have NO backup, not even close.

Thoughts?

P.S Hats off to utd for having prob their worst league start in 10.000 years.

What do we need?

A winger for the left side who can score and cross.

Well we won't be getting anyone apart from the centre half from atleti so this is all rather academic but in a utopia I would

Sell Kolarov and buy Baines

Gives us left sided width and deliveries into the box and replaces the Serbian shitbag

£4m apparently ...

€40m + €5m (bonuses) the figure doing rounds for Ozil to Arsenal ... hmmm, not sure what to make of it and then Scum fans saying they are saying a big name tomorrow, biggest of all, are they getting Tranny back? or just wetting their pants for nothing?? Has Bale to RM finally triggered the whole merry go round?

And just to be sure we are all done for the window, right? All that Al Sharawi talk is just bs right?

We're done I reckon.
Busy day for Everton I think. Barry to Everton means Baines and Felliani to the rags. Buttner to go on loan as part of the deal.
MacCarthy (wigan) to Everton also. Excellent player.

We should break the bank for ozil, it's not often one of the top players in the world becomes available while so young. He is top notch and we should make room for him.

Keeping Barry will be the best bit of business we do, but have a feeling that ship will sale, prob help the rags by going to everton allowing them to sell Fellini.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Navas IS Jesus ‏@george_vmcfc 27s
Why the hell have Paddy Power stopped bets on Fellaini to City, it can't be that close, Golom was meant to be signing him yesterday!

From Twitter.

me either. but, now that they've sold Bale (and bought Isco) the logical move is to cash in on Ozil.

With:

Back 5
Khedira Modric/Alonso
Di Maria Isco Bale
Ronaldo

or even putting Benzema in for Di Maria and altering the positions it seems like there's no room for Ozil. He is not effective on the wing.

McCarthy is the trigger for the Fellaini sale I expect, and as i believe thats now done, Fellaini i expect will deffo be a rag tomorrow, but some odd rumours around suggesting we are sniffing with barry as a makeweight, and suggestions bookies have suspended betting?

Barry moving to Everton wouldnt give them any attacking dimension which they would lose from fellaini, so would be an additional midfielder there rather than a direct replacement for everton.

sounds like Fellaini is off to United and maybe Kagawa to PSG.

The kagawa story is bullshit, classic 2+2 = 5 based on him boarding a plane to paris. Its international week, he is off to meet the japan squad.

If united did get rid of him, (and if i were them i would want to keep him), he would almost certainly be going back to dortmund

BBC says that bury have signed 20 players this window ... and sunderland have signed 11.

ruining the game.

I think we might have a surprise left in us for deadline day ... and i'm not talking about demichelis.
