Moyes has played a blinder. Lets the deadline for clause go, bids Everton in the nuts for the player infuriating blue scouse.
Lose at Liverpool and Everton sit tight knowing price is rising by the second and the scum have no choice but to pay what Kenwright wants!

Supposedly that's why Jose didnt sell Ba to Arsenal

I repeat its the James McCarthy deal that will influence the Fellaini switch to the rags. McCarthy for £14m is spending some of the £28m or so the rags will pay for felliani

i was commenting on the "Jose wouldnt do that" part because he's right.

I know you were, but the inference was that whilst Jose wouldn't allow another rival to strengthen their squad by selling one of his own players to that club, we would.

But as the Barry to Everton deal had no bearing on the rags signing Fellaini then it was worth reiterating the point that it was another deal that City had absolutely nothing to do with that enabled the fellaini deal to happen.

Happy about Fellaini to the rags, as he's useless as a midfielder, so they'll be reverting to long balls up to him. Although he'll get away with even more elbows now.

Looks like they've also got Contreao or however you spell it from Real on loan. Bizarre, since they said he wasn't for sale earlier today, but willing to let him go to a CL rival?

Glad to see they had to spend a fortune on him, he's not consistent and wont get any better but when he does turn it on he can be dangerous, lets not forget last season when he owned Yaya.

Anyone willing to put all the fees together to see if Real made a profit?

In:
Isco
Bale
Illaramendi
Carvajal (?)

Out:
Ozil
Arbeloa
Callejon
Higuain

I'm sure they didn't but their outlay probably isn't that large

I think that's all the movement unless they sold Coentrao

rumours and only rumours that there is an issue with the paperwork on the Contreao deal. Also rumours that the rags approached Galatasary for Wes Schneider and were told to do one.

It is remarkable how the rags have so publicly failed with so many of their targets during the summer window - oh well.....

Heres more good publicity:

Ben Smith, BBC SportMANCHESTER UNITED LATEST

"Confirmation from Manchester United that three men who reportedly attempted to negotiate a deal to sign Athletic Bilboa midfielder Ander Herrera were not acting on behalf of the Premier League champions and were, for want of another word, imposters.

"Reports in Spain claim three men dressed in black suits and claiming to be United "representatives" spent an hour at the La Liga offices attempting to negotiate a deal. The move collapsed at the 11th hour."

Spurs spent about what they took in...

An amazing window for them honestly. Clear winners in the transfer window by heads and shoulders. They've built a team for the next 5 years on the back of the likes of Monkey boy, tom huddleston and Cocker basically....along with Scotty Parker and Dempsey.

Shrewd from the Heebs. Shrewd.

That's a big call, Doomy. I just hope they've improved enough to finish above arsenal.

They made an 90 odd million pound profit on Bale and have signed on paper a great bunch of players most of whom are a good age. Take Eriksen for example, if he turns out to be as good as some think he might be there will be another massive sell on coming their way.

I am not conviced they will finish ahead of Arsenal but their business model is to be applauded.

Unsure about Fellaini. Definitely better than what they have and gives them a strong presence in midfield aswell as an aerial threat but Rags fans don't seem too enthused by his signing and were hoping for something more.

Fellaini is not what United need at all. He's just a big lumbersome bloke who likes to throw his weight around in the area. As a proper midfielder he's very average. He's not gonna unlock any defences, put it that way.

He has the odd day where he looks unplayable but they're so few and far between.

Delighted the rags paid £27 million for Felliani. They have vastly over-paid on a very average player. Barry will fill his vacant role at Everton with ease.

Nothing to fear at all from the scum this summer, it all ended how we knew it would, overpaying for Felliani.

Bacon must be looking at all this and thinking what the fuck. Hilarious.

Felaini's main asset is heading a football.

Of course he can be useful on the ground too, but his main asset & his only true top level quality, is winning headers in midfield & upfront (he's not that great defending his own box when challenged by a half decent player).

I can't make any conclusion from this other than Moyes is Evertonising Utd. The fantasy of Fabregas/Modric etc creating a passing team at the Swamp was an interesting situation but this ? Fellaini is no mug at simple passing but he is not a real asset to pass & move football, he is not quick, his tackles are of the mistimed/ red card variety & he doesn't protect the defence anymore than Yaya or Fernandinho do (apart from headers).

His most successful job for Everton is 2nd striker who drops back & makes interceptions. Isn't that Rooney's job ?

That could be a problem for us, as we are shite v Everton, but it's not much of a problem for anyone else.

Looks like a 'gritty' version of Utd is next on the cards rather than the footballing evolution which was hinted at by the bullshit targets.

I'm not surprised Chelsea are getting rid of lukaku. Unless its some massive foreign player who they paid 25 million + for regardless of quality they just seem to fuck over. They never bothered with Sturridge who is miles better than Torres now. Lukaku did a good job for west brom and is young but is getting palmed off. It is like a sideshow. The logical thing would be to cut your losses with Torres and build using you're other strikers. I can see ba not getting games either.
