He can defend brilliantly 'sometimes'.
I've seen him make mistakes which would keep Richard Dunne awake at nights.

In fairness he was a smashing player for one season when he was with us. Amazing how he has fallen apart, strange lad.

Norwich and Everton are up there for me. and I guess you gotta throw Arsenal in there for the Ozil deal even though they couldve used strengthening at other positions.

Arsenal.
Ozil is a magnificent player. Single handed wins Le Arse this window imo.

seen him a few times, he is a good player and will improve them, unfortunately

Great signing for them, the way they are now trying to play, but utterly ridiculous money based on his recent output for Real imo.
He's worth 20.
But Arsenal have a new plan, which he fits perfectly, & had they played us at weekend, they would have scored 5 or 6 without Ozil. Spurs would have been perfect, wide open, fodder for us though.
As for Spurs, Lamela in particular & Eriksen to a lesser extent (because he is a bit airy fairy) certainly have potential, possibly huge potential, but ONLY potential ( the Premier League is different) they are not obviously suited to
PL football. Not only that, but they do a similar job to the players Spurs already have.
Not seen enough of Vlad's Churches to decide onewayortother, but the rest, incuding last season's signings, are not anything I would have wanted for City at all. Soldado would have certainly done a job as 4th striker but Negredo may be our 1st striker.
If Spurs had kept most of the funds, then perhaps employed Bob, I think everyone would have had a problem by next season.
I recon AVB is a total phoney & they have blown it.
