Palace are doing okay defensively but just keep giving the Rags the ball back.

Palace are terrified every time they get the ball. They're passing it straight back to the Rags.
Really surprised, expected a Holloway side to be good going forward.

And again. Only player upfront. 2 defenders to deal with him. No one within 8 foot of him.

Fuck, sloppy pass gifts rags a penalty.
Edit and a red card.
All because of a sloppy pass.
FFS.

Young was falling over as he was running FFS. Defender makes a fucking class tackle AND WINS THE BALL.

How is that a red card?

I'm more bothered about the sloppy pass which led to the goal. Palace shot themselves in the foot there after defending so well all game,
Game over.

Palace are gonna get spanked in the 2nd half. The Rags haven't looked good at all going forward and the game feels like a few of ours last season where we had plenty of the ball but near nothing in front of goal. I'd suggest that Palace aren't eben packing the box, they're just sitting deep.

Palace have offered nothing going forward apart from the ball over the top and they're gonna be doing a typical Holloway 60th minute collapse (if it takes that long) that we used to see from Blackpool. And that's what I thought before the sending off.

The penalty though, I thought it was a very poor decision, one that has bigger reprecussions. The 2 of them came together and Young started to go down. The defender then continued to get the ball and pushed it away. From the ref's position, how could he tell who was to blame and the fact he had to take his time with the decision says he wasn't sure if it was actually a penalty. The lino didn't give it so the ref guessed at what happened and put it in favour of the Rags; broke under the pressure. What does he do though, give a pen or give Tom Daley another yellow? Presonally I'd have put it down as a collision, nothing more as they both came together, went down together and the ball popped out of the side. Fair tackle in my book.

Games fucked now though so probably not much to see from hereon in. This is what the Rags play for. Diving, feigning injury, staying down and putting pressure on the officials. It's not really down to football is it.

Spot on.
Rags really hadn't threatened much despite the possession they had. But Palace have been atrocious going forward. They're scared of having the ball and nearly every time they've had it, they've given it straight back.

Poor side.

And proof if there was any how the Rags get the call. The incident happened a couple of yards outside of the box and he gives it.

How can you give a penalty, knowing you're going to have to send the player off, when you are unsure of the circumstances?

Yet Halsey says he was 100%. How could he have been if it took him so long to call it? He guessed and got it wrong, simple as.

And there we go again. Halsey had a similar decision a couple of years back and said 'Looking back, I shouldn't have given the penalty. It should've been a yellow for Daley'.

Really frustrated, Evra and Young must be the worst cheeters in the PL. Commentary says it was outside the box,
but he was on his way to goal therefore a penalty?? Biggest scum on earth.

Mate it's better to expect nothing and be (very) pleasantly surprised if Palace nick anything then to have false hope!
Palace could give them a tough game but think the Rags will have too much for them. 2-0.

Pretty decent prediction.

Not really mate. If you'd said they'd win the game with a penalty and sending off then it would've been deceeeeent ;-)

Let's see how Chelsea get on now. Some have said they've seen nothing to worry about but after today I'd say they have nothing to.
