Very Concerned

Very Concerned

Postby zabbadabbado » Sat Sep 14, 2013 4:40 pm

Very concerned.

Right now I think we look like dog shit.

Was not happy about Mancini getting the bullet for finishing second after winning the league. But" hey ho "we sacked him and traded him in for the engineer Pellegrini .Now we look like a team of strangers, defense has gone to pieces, midfield is now non existent despite having class players ,attack is impotent . our passing is diabolical ,movement off the ball is rubbish, we should have easily lost today. And Pellegrini looks way out of his league.

I am totally bereft of optimism right now, I think sacking Mancini for this clown is going to prove too be one off thee biggest bollocks we have dropped.

As it stands I think we look like we are going to struggle this season, and even thinking about top 4 is being overly optimistic. I dread to think what a decent side could do to us playing as we are right now.

We need to get it right for the Derby or Pellegrini might end Derby day as already a bookies firm favourite for the sack.

Thoughts ?

Pellers looked a little lost on the side today and I felt a little sorry for him. It's as if he's been told how we should play and he cannot divert from the script.

We all know Pellers is a decent manager as we've all looked at his CV. Any manager of his ilk would change things to suit his needs but it looks like his needs aren't being suited.

We play one way and one way only.

The fact is, we are not going to get better quickly. We have 7 games in 21 days - include the travelling in those days. Where are we going to get the time to put things right on the training pitch?

My only hope is that Kompany, Silva and Clichy return quickly and our players play the football we were used to seeing. If not, this season could quickly become a season to forget.

Pelle is trying to make our team play like barca but city's strength lies in offensive passing not in the tikki taka way

It's very early days so patience is probably needed. That said the last 3 games have been very hard to stomach, you would find it difficult to take any positives from it.I know we just kept back to back clean sheets but the way we defended it's a miracle we have managed not to concede goals. Our build up play is so slow it's almost stagnant at times. It's been unbearable to watch, I don't know how we expect to get at teams playing football at that tempo.Any chance we could have the international break back please?

If he'd been told how to play, we would be playing 4-3-3.

Perhaps they should tell him how to play.

It's like we've gotten worse since preseason and have not taken a single step in the right direction. Where is the city that used to bully teams. Where has the the talent gone... these lads look confused and running int each other...

I'm mainly concerned about the defence.

Today's team was a nonsense, but we scored goals in the other games with our better players on the pitch. The defence was tragic today, has looked shite from pre season, even with Lescott & Kompany in it.

I'm pretty sure he will sort the football side no problem, but I'm not convinced about the defending, as a team.

Yes, I am very concerned too, since United and Chelsea have looked amazing so far. Oh wait, that isn't happening. New manager, new players, same tough match at Stoke, oh and there is this little thing about the CL starting this week.

I don't get how people can say the defence was the biggest problem when we didn't have a single shot on target. A massive lack of creativity.

What tight schedule? We haven't played in two weeks and that was the result.

I'll second that emotion FB and look to judge the bloke over the whole season and not on the basis of the first few games using a new system, bedding in new players and with key players cropped and a CL game 3 days away.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

wtf does chelsea and the rags have to do with it ?
Our season depends on how we do not on how they do.

We should have been hammered today,if not for shite finishing and some great saves by Joe we would have been.

A point at Stoke is a;ways a good point no matter how fortunate.

But the fact remains we have played Cardiff,Hull,Stoke and looked on the whole awful.

We have not yet met a decent side and struggled,i fear for the future based on our recent performances hardly being negative just being realistic.

Really? From what I saw today it is our attack that concerns me more. Did we test begovic today?

I'm concerned about the defence, midfield and attack!!

Yes Stoke away is a tough game, but not to test their keeper is worrying.

I'm deeply concerned. Don't look capable of unlocking defenses very one dimensional. Passing in fucking triangles. Headless chicken overlaps. At least Negredo was on target. Twice.
