Sorry Ross, I didn't whinge like the pantomime dames because it was blindingly obvious that we were the better team and would win it easily as the plzen ran out of steam and enthusiasm. So no, I am a fan but I don't suddenly turn into a rag and start slagging the Blues if we don't rip into the lead.

Don't get too excited when we win against a crap team and don't get too down when we lose/draw against a tough opponent.Good confidence boosting win though which we really needed before the scum come.

Mate, I think we've been shit but you've got to take something from that. We played well all game and the confidence showed through.

I was worried that Edin would be left out fro this and the Boss kept confidence. I also thought that we reverted to our old game from last season which made things a lot easier.

I did and thought we had turned the corner. Quinn and Tyler were playing off a script (watch SSN) to keep their Armchairs happy.

Yaya is just as effective as Silva when he gets forward imo, but if we leave Fernadinho on his own to deal with the rags' breakaways, he will get sent off & they will beat us. Still plenty of work to do.

Still, we have played some top teams in Europe in recent years, but we have also played against some pretty useless ones, & lost to them. The oppo weren't great but they potentially had a goal or two in them & were just as dangerous on crosses as a Stoke or Cardiff. Tonight was better than most of the crap we have seen from City in European games.

Very impressed with Nastasic tonight. Ok took up some pretty dreadful positions 1st half on crosses, but kids do; he went after winning the ball all night & tried to get involved with proper defending & got stuck in rather than just watching others. By the end, he was playing very well. Very encouraging for the future.

Harts distribution has not improved one bit. If he wants to improve he's gonna have to trust his defenders...

Cheers Beefers mate but i thought apart from one scary moment in the first half we coped well with a team that ran forward on the break like it was "The charge of the Light Brigade".But at the end it was job done well and bring on the rags on Sunday.
