Girls, girls, girls, relax, we've won against a decent side.

Save your angst for the Rags whose first came from an offside and Sky are now bigging up to beat us at the weeked.

I'm sure we were the big game on Sky tonight yet it's all about Shrek and the Rags on Sky's CL Special. So much for the crap about not advertising other games.

Harts distribution has not improved one bit. If he wants to improve he's gonna have to trust his defenders...

He had a chance to pass on side like 5 times and he goes to kick the ball. Why? We are better side we should play not kick the ball. Some stuff just don't make sense to me.

Why the aggression?
I'm just judging him based on tonight's commentary, whereas you are constantly changing your mind as to whether youre talking about tonight or in general.

Constantly might be an over exaggeration.

I was only joking btw.

How good was Yayas goal, we can both agree on that. Kinda hope he's saved some for Sunday!

Don't think Pilsen were a good side, they were quite poor, but we passed the ball better in the second half. Thought nasri was very good in the centre, keep him there. Nasri in the centre and aguero up front Sunday please.

Mate, I think we've been shit but you've got to take something from that. We played well all game and the confidence showed through.

I was worried that Edin would be left out fro this and the Boss kept confidence. I also thought that we reverted to our old game from last season which made things a lot easier.

Well done to Pellers for me but even more the players for playing a more natural game.

By reverting to old game do you mean Yaya giving up pretending to do some DM and just looking to move forward ?
If so I'd agree.
Ted made the point well after the Cardiff game and we all know Yaya can't be relied on to do a proper DM job, so there is no need to go over all that, but it needs sorting somehow as Fernandino is getting left in the lurch here. He can't find a way of playing that Yaya doesn't somehow fuck up for him. Yaya tends to be all over the place so it is very difficult to work with him side by side, especially when you are new to the team. I am starting to feel sorry for lil Fernando as it isn't his fault he looks lost half the time.

The only time he looks half there is when Yaya is put in front of him and he knows where the fucker is going to operate.
If they play side by side Fernando has got to try play his own game and basically what Barry used to do too otherwise the team gets a big hole in it and gets caught out.

It is that dynamic that has been fucking the whole team up. If Pell reverts back to using it, it will continue where it left off fucking the whole team dynamic.
Zabba can't go bombing forward cos he knows we will get caught out if the two mids are both not doing any DM duty.
Zabbs not going forward means less width and no support for Navas and no overlap... etc etc etc blah blah blah.

Great second half against a one game plan side, but seriously nothing to get excited about until that prob between the mids is sorted out.

I agree Nasri in the centre is the only place for him.He is wasted out on the flanks.

Got called a clown and to calm the fuck down in my local. Got into a bit of a barney with one dude, but when I told him I'm from Machester his only response was 'but you're in the Czech Republic now!' They're not even Plzeň fans! Anyway, the general consensus amongst the local crowd was that City played very well and should qualify.

I do take something from that, a morale boost but make no mistake Plzen were poor. Not too different to the Newcastle game where they were very poor on the night and made us look better than we were.Look what happened after the Newcastle game.

I do think if we have a poor half against the scum we will lose. They will come to defend in numbers and hit us on the break.I loved the way we played for a spell tonight but as I have said every team will take 6 points off Plzen so we haven't achieved anything yet apart from a boost to confidence.

Meant to tell you: Edin did an interview in Czech after the game. Didn't say much but still respect for trying.

Good start which makes the group more manageable.

In the second half we passed the ball quicker, upped the pace and should have scored 5 or 6. Need 4 pts from the 2 games with CSKA, beat Plzen at home and that should do it. Any pts from the Bayern games are a bonus.

Kompany calming, Ya Ya commanding, Aguero lively and getting fitter, whilst Nasri was positive in all he tried. On to sunday but that was a pleasing uplift in spirit and positivity tonight.

this wasnt aired here until now and the stupid channel had the score running across the bottom so it got spoiled for me. and the audio wasnt synced to the video. what a piece of shit. ever since Fox lost the rights to the Premier League, European football over here in the US sucks.

in the first 20 minutes we looked pretty bad and Aguero was nowhere to be found. Dzeko missed a great chance but aside from that, we did very little in the first half. our defense looks shaky as well.

Kolarov really is a terrible denfder isnt he? sheesh.

Yaya has been curling in some gorgeous goals these days. wow they're pretty.

nothing about this match changed my mind about Pellegrini or the squad though. still sat on the fence.

Have you looked into switching to DirecTV? As far the European football coverage sucking in the US I guess it depends on your provider. Don't see how getting every game live for the Premier League, Champions League and Europa League equals coverage being worse.

Just a sumptuous goal....unstoppable and absolutely out of nowhere.

We look suspect so far in so many ways...BUT....we have such amazing quality in so many areas we get to see shit like that from players in City shirts.

Happy days....followed by worrying days...followed by more happy days
