If we don't get into double figures there will be serious questions asked, I can tell you that.

6-1 is the benchmark, he needs to top that to have made progress.

Otherwise, it's the sack.

2 goals shy of deserving to keep his job - gone by the morning - who else is out there though?

Aguero, Nasri, Negredo, Yaya, Kompany, all very poor.
At least we have Garcia, and Kolarov.
Pellegrini out now!

Hmmm Kolarov bar one mistake made Valencia look like Garcia. Best way to take him off his game is to force him to track back. And no one can blame him for the goal. Cut him some slack.

His attacking intent was there for all to see and kept Valencia and Smalling on the back-foot, so much so that Valencia ended up playing through the middle.

Horses for courses and all that, and this was the right horse for the right course.

Winner.

He's lucky to still be in a job, I'd have binned him after only beating the Barcodes 4-0

in the post match interview he gave his own version of "izz normal" ... 'es normal' ... should that certify him for the drop or strengthen his position as he is obviously trying to emulate mancini? food for thought.
