Man Of The Match v Rags

Postby Beefymcfc » Sun Sep 22, 2013 4:52 pm

They've given it Nasri at the ground, Vinnie by Sky, what do you think?

Seeing it was a great game, you've got a co-star to pick as well ;-)

I've given it to Yaya. Absolute beast today. Although Komps and Aguero were up there too.

Hard to tell.

I liked Fernandinho, he was all over. Yaya too.

I am going with the captain.

Also: I've also had a massive soft spot for Nasri and am so happy to see him finally come really good.

Aguero for the second game in a row - he is out-Tevezing Tevez lately. They guy is all over the pitch.

Yaya and Vince get it for me but we were great all over the pitch until we tried to call it a day.

Some great performances and shows we can pick it up when the big teams come. Let's now do it away from home with the not-so's.

Nasri. I'm this '' close to starting a thread about him.

In all honesty I could've given my vote to a lot of other players as well.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Yaya was unplayable - kompany held Rooney at bay admirably, which killed off their gameplan, it is very close between them but I am going to go komps

It's what he needs to do - we don't need luxury strikers in this team, we need ultra talented grafters

Vinnie

Thought Nasri was exceptional.....Negredo was fabulous.....I thought, however, that Fernandinho was excellent

Yaya...unreal

Sergio...amazing

but

Vincent....his performance laid the platform, technically and psychologically, for us to play that game. He was just incredible

That was a great performance

Aguero for his two goals and work rate; also noticed that he passed the ball more often than usual.
Great team performance overall.

Kompany for me. Nasri, Negredo, Yaya, and Navas were all stand outs though.
