51 - Sergio Aguero has now scored 51 goals for #MCFC (all comps) and is now outright 2nd highest scorer in PL history for the Blues. Update.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I think I'll watch Match of the Day for the first time this season tonight.

Watching the UK feed for the first time this season, does Jess Ennis advertise everything?

Just a quick reminder, i”ve heard Tyler talk about their famous comeback after every goal we had. At 4-0 it became ridiculous.

You know what, I don't begrudge the granny shagger his goal. Thought he kept his rag when in previous years he'd have seen red when already on a yellow.

I wouldn't be sympathetic if we hadn't humiliated the cunts of course, and a clean sheet would have been sweet, but those of us who are passionate about the national side need him to be on his game.

Also, let's not get carried away, this was a home win against a mid-table team with the proper tests yet to come.

I switched his commentary off in the first half when he started emphasising the Englishness of the RAG team.

United might well finish 5th this season. Tottenham won late at Cardiff Arsenal are playing well and Chelsea can be relied on to grind out results.

Brilliant first 60 minutes. That was the kind of football and ruthlessness we all wanted to see. Bit gutted we let them play for the last 30 mins or so, but we looked comfortable throughout.
Kompany was immense.

The whole team was immense till they took their foot off the pedal. Exposed the weaknesses of the rags who we made to look bad till the last 30 mins.

Some fabulous performances led by Kompany and already highlighted but Kolorov deserves a mention in dispatches for his attacking performance in the first half as well as defensively. Much maligned, often with good reason, he looked very good today.

Just wanted to say congratulations to all City fans. Couldn't watch the game here in Spain since I'm working today, but I'm really very happy about this result. I hope Negredo and Navas had a good performance and helped the team in this important victory. My best wishes for the rest of the season (it would be great if M. City could beat Real Madrid or Barcelona in the CL final by an extra time last minute goal scored from an off side position!).

Navas was very good down the right, the quality of his crosses are pure joy to watch. Negredo was exceptional today in all things but his shooting, which was a little wayward. His ability to throw his weight around and lead the line were very important in the win and his assist for the third was the result of some great awareness.

Kompany was immense but highlight for me was how Negredo bullied both Ferdinand and Vidic.

Both Negrado and Navas had a really good game. They worked hard for the team, won second balls and both set up a goal.

We normally seem up for the big games, it's the mid table games that worry me, why do they need so much motivation!!!

Cheers mate, it was a cracker with both of them having contributing to a great day. An assist for each as well.
