I hope Negredo and Navas had a good performance and helped the team in this important victory. My best wishes for the rest of the season (it would be great if M. City could beat Real Madrid or Barcelona in the CL final by an extra time last minute goal scored from an off side position!).

Both Negrado and Navas had a really good game. They worked hard for the team, won second balls and both set up a goal.

Both played very important roles in our victory. It was unlucky for Negredo that he didn't score but he held the ball up so well today. Pellegrini gave him a rest in the second half because we are in the middle of a lot of fixtures in a short amount of time.

Its just not going to happen, as much as I wish it would. Utd are still only really 3 points behind and did have a tougher start, its still far too early and everything is still way too tight.

That said I've found myself rooting for both Spurs and Arsenal to keep winning, I'd far rather we challenge either one of those two sides for the title than the filth up the road.

I wanna see a gif of the bit where Negredo just absolutely bullied Ferdinand. Pushed him about like a schoolboy.

I felt that today was the day that Manuel demonstrated that the team have it in them to play football his way (it should calm the doubters down for a while) and what a beautiful way of playing football it is eh!

Can we play them every week please?
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

hopefully performances like this and Newcastle aren't the rarities that only appear when the team is really up for it (intensity of opening match and then a derby)

Two huge worries for the scum. First, they've never replaced Paul Scoles. Fellaini was very poor today and is not in the same class. To bring on Cleverly to change things up demonstrated how weak they are in midfield. Second, Camel gob is showing his age; he's lost at least a yard of pace. They have a weaker midfield than ourselves Chelsea and Spurs and are not obviously better there than Liverpool. They have better strength in depth than Liverpool or Arsenal which may save them a Champion's League place but I think our main rivals for the title are Chelsea and Spurs.

Brilliant brilliant stuff!!!!

Had to settle for a little pub in my sisters red neck village. Walked in the place was FULL of rag bastards. Didnt stop me jumping on my seat when first goal went in. Settled but nervous they would get one back and boy, the rag twats were giving it some. Smugly went to stretch my legs at half time but still anxious. That was put to bed after the restart. Beautiful!!!!!!!! When the fourth went in I just sat there laughing!. The place was silent throughout, even when they got there goal.

Fantastic game. Played wonderful football and really showed them that the tide as turned.

Fuck em!!!!

I couldn't believe it when I saw the odds on Spurs being so far out of contention after the window closed - they spent really well and finished with a squad stronger (all be it on paper) than last season by spreading the risk rather than having all their eggs in one (monkey faced) basket.

Bizarre game in that it was so easy - after the 4th went in, we just coasted for 30 minutes. When the final whistle went, it was just a quick clap and everyone went home.

Missed the tension, but games are often like that against mid-table sides.

Ha ha ha, just had a look at the FF league and after a bad start with Benteke I've gone on to pick up 84 points. 4 players picked me up 73 ponts and the rest were dogshit.

Can't believe I've got another 18 points sat on the bench. Bummer!

Also, picked up 4 wins up today on prediction league that took me out of the red.

Turned out nice again ;-)

A couple of things surprised me today.First was how well we played.Yes I know I am just too pessimistic and should know better but based on all our performances so far this season I wasn't sure we had one as good as that in us just yet. Great credit to the gaffer and the whole team.We just need to find that quality away from home in the prem and starting next week.

Second was Gollum believing it was right to play against us with 2 wingers.I use the term winger loosely for Young as it should just read dogshite. It was probably a good thing to take the foot off the pedal at 4 nil as it might make them think they are quite decent because they had good possession for a while and got a goal back. How wrong that would be.

Yes when cleverly came on for young they had a lot more possession, which highlights how ineffectual young was. And by then the games was so far beyond them it hardly mattered.

Nevermind hey

All the twats were in my train carriage and all got off at Birmingham. Fucking typical rag idiots, mid 30's to early 40's no colours and annoying the fuck out of everyone about how successful they all were, foreign property and flash cars and the like. One was mouthing off about his executive box at the theatre of spases. They probably all work down the local brummie pie factory.

You are forgetting Liverpool ... (and Everton too) might want to have some say about that Europa League spot ... I am thinking the Scum will be somewhere 7-8th ... just about where they are now.

Head says Rooney + Fellaini will expose our weak (lack of organization or defined roles) central midfield and be allowed too much time and have a fucking field day in the huge Gareth Barry shaped hole we leave between our midfield and the defence, drawing the defence into a narrow back 4 and giving their wingers too much space to put the ball in for the rapist when they counter attack. They will defend like they have most season which is very evertonian and will cause us big problems and I think they might embarrass us even though we look the between team for the most part. But an early goal from us might shake them and moyes isn't exactly a tactical genius, he will stick to the usual game plan. The rags will lose patience with it if they are down and we are not doing what they need us to do. Then when Rooney's ego takes over and he starts dictating how they play we can abuse the confusion left behind and fuck them like a slag you find passed out at a party, in the arse. So basically we will win or lose or draw. FACT.

Just went though the whole game thread ... Great thinking by your heart prior to the start ;)

Next time PM me what your heart is saying before the game ... might be useful for SkyBet or Bet365.

That was the easiest game I've ever seen against the rags. Looking round at the journeymen they had on the field and on the bench(and in the dugout) I couldn't help but offer up a prayer of thanks for our owners. The Glaziers have absolutely fucking raped United. Long may it last!
