Have to admit I wanted Nasri out last season. Looked lazy, uninterested.

Like people have already said the difference since pre-season is unbelievable.

Who would have thought a year ago that Nasri would be the player to cover the most ground in a match. NOT ME!

Only thing that worries me is the 3 games we have played great in (Newcastle, Plzen, Rags) have been when Vinnie played, if he gets injured again we could struggle, especially how Pelle keeps persevering with Garcia. He was only on the pitch a few minutes when he lost the ball just outside our area and put them on the attack. Scares the hell out of me.

Zabba for me. Thought he was a bit of a clown when we first signed him

Nasri for me too - Silva plays on instinct so much that he knows what pass he will play before he even receives the ball, Nasri has to look for the pass first which tends to interrupt the flow of the game a bit. When he's willing to run at players though, like in the last two games, he can be close to unplayable at times.

That goes for me as well.

I was just thinking last night, for all of Clichy's extra pace, and better defensive work, he would never in a million years have sent a cross as perfect as that for Aguero, and because he played so high up the pitch it pushed Valencia back all day.

To be honest that cross was not "that" perfect mate, it was Agueros finish that was perfect.

I seem to remember Clichy vs Hull, that cross WAS perfect.

However Kolarov was quality yesterday and won a lot of city fans over. Well done that man.

He seems to be affected by peoples opionions too easily, like Piers Morgan, when that had that bet.

He looked a different player once bobby left, pre season vs Chelsea looked fantastic.

Richards a few years ago when he seemed like he didn't give a shit. I remember the first home game in Hughes second season against Wolves when he was fucking awful.

I was hoping that Pellegrini, with his track record of excellent man-management, would be able to get the best out of Nasri and so far it looks as though this is the case. He is finally looking like the player we forked our £25m for

I know some very specific things that happened between Nasri and Mancini which can't possibly have been good for Samir. A 'source' says it was like he was being picked on.

One school of thought is that it was Mancini's tough love approach, another one is that Mancini was just a cunt. The person who witnessed lots of the interaction between Mancini and the players, felt he was just a cunt.

But the effort Nasri was putting in was hardly going to win a gold star was it? So who was the cunt?

Pleased to say I'm in the camp who admire Nasri for his frankness and am enjoying his current contribution. Just shows how quickly rehabilitation comes with a change of attitude and application, whatever the underlying factors.

Early days yet though, looks promising and i really hope we finally get the player we signed whatever the reasons behind his poor showing the last 2 seasons.
