Someone explain to me this fucking order ...

[tweet]384020637305806848[/tweet]

Didn't they say the most no of goals in the game gets first, then the second and so on ... so how the fuck does Scum game comes top all of a sudden?

And why the fuck Sky's game of the day is again Scum's and not ours ...

Fucking idiotic day all around ... and I'm not even going to wait for MotD, already know what those fuckers are going to say ...

Martinez said the linesman "did well not to give offside" for Villas first goal.
And we were lucky to get 2 goals cos they were both only from set pieces whereas Villa had 2 up front and were a constant threat all game!
What fucking game was he watching ? I hope we give his lucky twats a spanking next week

TBF, lineker did open with the statement 'all the top four were in action today, oh and utd'

Made me chuckle.

Villa goal was clearly off side!! All academic now though :-(

Martinez would have seen what the Beeb wanted him to see. He won't have been shown the 21 shots to 8 or the 67% domination that we had. He will have missed the near double amount of passes and the 30 odd crosses we put in. What he would have seen was 4 attempts on target which led to 3 goals and told not to undermine the officials, as per Halsey last season.

Martinez was at the match, presumably as we are playing them next week. Think he'll know exactly what to do to get a result as well

Everyone knows what to do against City and Everton have been doing it for years.Oh that's apart from the folk at the swamp because they still think they can play and beat us. Our challenge this season isn't so much to score the goals although that's not always as easy as it sounds, but to stop them at the other end. Some 1 nil away wins would be nice.

That'd be nice Doug. The problem for me is that we seem to be putting all our efforts into scoring and seemingly ignoring that teams have their own threat. I mentioned in the matchday thread that I had a reservation about Villa hitting us on the break and that is due to our defensive set-up. My stream was pretty shit so I didn't get to see the nitty-gritty but when seeing it on MotD you could see all the individual errors in full light. The first we tried to hold the line and the lino should have flagged but if you look at our backline nobody else went with the scorer and even ifJoe had parried there were 2 other Villa players left to run on to it. It was as if we were in a rush to get upfield.

The second was a good freekick but the last was ridiculous. I know we are going for the win but we left 2 defenders against 2 strikers. How many teams do that, especially away from home?

If it could go wrong it did go wrong and it's the system and tactics that lost us the game yesterday. Players have a big part to play in that and the way they went about it after the break seemed very lazy. It was as if they believed they won the game and didn't after think about what the oppo would do. Now, I find it hard to put any blame on Pellers apart from the subs but it does beg the question, who takes the responsibility?

Looking at Pellers yesterday he looked like a rabbit in the headlights again. The changes didn't work and we didn't change the system in any way. The problem for me is that I don't know if it's Pellers tactics or he's been told that he has to keep on attacking. Surely a manager of Pellers capabilities can see what is going wrong or does he just think that the PL is a walkover and you just have to score goals. If that was the case then we are going to see some fabulous football but end up outside the CL places because, as we've all seen, it just doesn't work in the Prem.
