Man Of The Match v Villa

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Sep 28, 2013 5:42 pm

Well, I gave Slim the chance but it seems like he's hit the sack. Who can blame him?

Anyway, we started well but lost the script near the end. Somebody must've caught your eye today and for me it was Samir.

Nasri for me too but I also thought Yaya was good throughout the game. Kolarov had a decent first half too but seemed to run out of steam in the second

I've done them in the past but I didn't see the value for 30 minutes of play.

Maybe next time (hopefully not).

We never looked like scoring after Nasri went off, so I'll lump for him.

That was the biggest mistake yesterday. I can see why we did it but as he was the only real creative player, and is well in form, then it's easy to see why we don't play as well when he's not there.

nas was the best on the pitch, then we take him off instead of jimmy and we lose

I don't think Pellers has made any positive substitutions since he's been here. Against Cardiff he took off Navas and Dzeko before they scored, at Stoke they made no difference and yesterday they took the points after taking Nasri and and Dzeko off.

Strange but true.

To me that implies Nasri and Dzeko will play against Bayern - if they don't, then I have no clue what Pellegrini was doing with his subs.
