Maybe some people simply can't afford it? Are you George Osbourne?

Maybe we could make people on the dole come and watch us just so we can fill the ground.

That would have been a good tory strategy a few years back. Could have been an alternative to going to the job centre every day. Go and watch City managed by Stuart Pearce every week.

What will piss Me Off is the fact that if the 3 x £99 tickets work out cheaper than signing up for the euro scheme.
Fans that have signed up when the season tickets came out should get them cheaper,

I paid £48 for mine which is not a bad price to watch the best in Europe a bloke I work with pays £20 to watch Wrexham ,so I think £48 is a good price in comparison.

Dick,

No worries fella. The club say that when purchasing through the cup scheme all 3 tickets will still cost only £99 in total. I think mine cost me £48 for CB2 but the next 2 will cost £41 between them. All good stuff eh!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Granted the prices are higher but if we cant fill 45k when we are at home to the current european champs it wil be an embarrassment.

Empty seats on weds should make the club think again on their admission price policy for this game

Just looked on line and although it says 'available' in about 3 areas, it's hard to find one.

The club will have umpteen computer programmes calculating prices against attendance based on current factors etc.
