Just read Bossaerts wasn't even playing, injection in his ankle is tomorrow and hopefully back to training after. We need another giant Belgian defender, two isn't enough.

Ted Hughes wrote:Great performance by the U19s.

Lopes is obvious but Byrne looks absolute quality to me as well & plays the game exactly the way we require for the first team.

All 4 defenders very good on the ball & Denayer is a Rolls Royce, but again one of those players who may end up as something other thana central defender. Glendon did well in midfield.

Lopes & Byrne absolutely outstanding today though.

Stewart Robson mentioned how Bayern couldn't live with the 'athletic' City side, not wishing to admit that they were totally fucking outclassed at football.

I will be interested to watch the game on TV tomorrow to see how it all looked.Bayern for me,especially defensively were appalling. They seemed to lack organisation and individual quality so it made it a little difficult to tell whether it City who were great or were the opposition just garbage.

The previous game v Plizen was a walkover but now so was this one. Moscow have beaten Pilzen 5 nil today so it will be our games against them to decide the group and also to tell us more about our quality.

Seemed to me that Lopes was a a couple of quality levels above and that's with him only flitting in and out of the game from his wide position, Scored 3 and could have had 2 more but for the bar and a top save.I really liked the way he picked the guy's pocket for the first and just drove on for the one two.

Byrne is an interesting player.Full of confidence and with an eye for a killer pass but much of the time just makes himself available and plays simple.I really want to see him under more pressure against better quality opposition.

They really don't know what they are doing in the box office do they?
Why would they to put the tickets to Norwich game on sale on a match day when they'll surely get loads of phone calls anyway!
I tried to call them today regarding the Norwich game but was told the queue is 45minutes, waited 15mins before I decided fuck that I'll sort it out in another way.

If the kids can win 6-0, then I'm expecting at least 7 from the first team, or I'll be disappointed.

Hart, Clichy Richards Nasti Kompany, to play for us, didn't catch the rest - Aguero starts.

Is Zaba injured? Richards probably better going forward and he'll be useful in the air at both ends of the pitch. Still Micah really needs to concentrate defensively for the whole match. Pleased Clichy and Aguero are playing but would have payed Negredo instead of Edin. Time for him to step up.

Kolarov has been doing ok recently but it's a bit of a relief we have Clichy back for tonight.
