I think the problem isn't necessarily the system. I think in games like these Yaya Toure does not do enough defensively. Hence why we look so bad in the midfield.

It's the midfield combo of fernandinho and yaya, I don't think either do enough defensively ... neither of them are that kind of midfielder, to be fair and I don't think they're up to playing in a 2 man mid.
