I'm starting to head towards that opinion. He's fast becoming our Juande Ramos.

Naive and stubborn but early days yet.
Well that's the point I was trying to make.
Hazy, I already blamed the manager for not changing it, but I was quoting john and he was giving an overall picture on the manager, not just the bayern game.
It's a mish mash so far and anyone who claims we either found the messiah or we have a clown in charge is obviously the type of lad who blows a load when a lady waves.

I know mate, not sure but I think John was having a go at Piccs knee jerk nature in that post more than anything else, could be wrong though.

He was mate, I know that but some on here already want him out.
Socrates, sweeney and Mr. 76 have already pretty much stated it. Quite a few others appear happy when we fuck up, but haven't openly admitted it.
I just think it's a bit early for all of this.
Look at where he finished with lesser teams and look at where he finished with real madrid - narrowly coming second to a team as good as the one we played the other night.
I've heard folk saying they are worried for our top four finish. That he is clueless. That he is a clown. That he should be sacked.
Have you lost your fucking minds?!

This very much.

i do think demicelis could be the key to pelle's system. we need a very coordinated back line but at the moment vinny/nastasic are at sea with the concepts. demicelis could turn our season around.

It was a response to J68's post, so get off the soapbox.
However, whilst I didn't like Mancini, I am concerned that there's no improvement on the pitch, at best. In reality, the defensive side is all over the place and we're no better attacking than we were previously - brilliant and poor in equal measures. 'The Engineer' was supposed to be a tactical mastermind, yet we played 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2 against Bayern and got battered. Starting like that was ridiculous, but to sit there and watch it for 50 minutes was worse and then to only change like for like was Keeganesque.
I'm getting concerned that Trixie an Dixie have fucked up finding a replacement

This season, another near £100M spent...MONEY = GUARANTEED SUCCESS.,.and we're absolutely running away with.....6th place???? Pal....If only we'd spent as much as Hull or Everton or even Arsenal.....Fuck, we did...
...and how fuckin thrilled you must be to be able to see the mighty Blues attack, attack, attack (and even more attack) our way to defeat at Cardiff.....and Villa....and rip the mighty Hull to shreds.
How fuckin refreshing and exhilarating to watch City being overrun in midfield by Bayern. No worries for you about all this boring defending...much more fun not to have any defending at all....and thank fuck we had a plan B to turn it all around. Just a pity that it took till the 70th minute after Bayern had already won the game and removed their star players.
Shall I write it for you.....Pellergrini out....Surely you've given him long enough by now.
I don't think that's fair either john.
When mancini was trying to change our style we had very similar results at one stage.

No soapbox pal.
Fair play, you're open about leaning towards wanting him out.
I'm not making shit up about you. Maybe we'll look back and say you were right.
I just think it's a tad early.

But i am seriously starting to wonder was it really a good idea to replace an authoritarian manager( all be it a bit eccentric) because a few superstars don't like being shouted at with a nice cuddly manager who keeps telling the mard arses in the squad how great they are.I even have my suspicion that Pellegrini keeps picking Dzeko because he dose not want him to throw a hissy fit.
The best managers in the game have all been their own men Paisey,Shankly,Clough, bacon face, they ruled by fear,it keeps players on their toes knowing they have to perform to their optimum.
Pellegrini might be a good manager with the right players, with the wrong players it might all go tits up.Lets not forget Mancini struggled to motivate some of these players and they got him sacked,is Mr Nice Pellegrini and his niceness really what we need at this time,i am not so sure,This might all end in tears unless the owners are prepared for this to be a transitional season and get rid off the inconsistent non performers.
Obviously as a City fan i hope everything turns out great, but the early signs are not good top 4 might be in jeopardy unless there is a drastic improvement.Ii was not upset on Wednesday losing to Bayern Munich, there's no shame in that,it was the shocking performance in a prestige game that did me,i dream off nights like that, and we didn't turn up.
